I would put negative 5 stars if there was rating ā¦ā¦
DONT EVER BUY A FIREARM FROM FLEET AND FARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For Christmas I bought myself a brand new Ruger 57, been waiting for 3 yrs to buy it because it cost $754.59 ⦠Was so excited to go to the range and squeeze off a couple hundred roundsā¦. Well that was short lived, 30 rounds later it wouldnāt fire, disappointed is an understatement ..!! Took it back to fleet and farm, told them I would like to exchange it, That was meet with we will have to send it back to the manufacturerā¦.I really didnāt want to do that, because it had already failed, the truth is I will never trust it to protect my family, it will always be in the back of my mind that when I need it I WONT WORK.!!!!! But I let them send it.. Itās been almost a month and Not a word from them.. no email, text or call, so my wife and I went today to get a update, That was a joke, guy at the counter was completely clueless, told he had no knowledge of how any if that work, even though he was the one that sold me the gunā¦. told him that was unacceptable and wanted to talk to the manager, He made us wait for 20 minutes then shows up with an attitude, like I was a inconvenience, I asked him when can I expect to get my gun back, His response was enlightening ā¦. He said and I quote āIM NOT GOING TO DIG THROUGH THE FILES TO FIND OUTā!!!!! we will just have to call you when. It gets here.. this is where I told this little worm of a man on a power trip!!! That is completely unacceptable, how bout you just give me a refund or exchange the gun and we can part ways ā¦. He tells me itās illegal for him to refund my money, and No fān way or we going to exchange it..!!!! He straight up āLIEDā to my wife and I It is not illegal for them to refund the moneyā¦.. Or exchange it for that matterā¦.
Basically they ripped me off ā¦!
IF YOU BUY A FIREARM FROM THEM they wonāt stand behind it and they will treat you like š©ā¦!!!!!!!!! Buyer bewareā¦. If you buy a gun from āFLEET AND FARMā!!!! Your a foolā¦
I seriously donāt expect to get one of those responses from them like you see on other reviewsā¦. But that is just another way you the one reading this will see how they are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe first time that I stopped in was about 8 months ago and I was looking for a part for a wood burner that the website stated they had in stock. When I first walked into the store and started searching for my area, it was clear that I didn't know where to look, but as I walked past 10 different employees, not one acknowledged me. When I found my area, I couldn't locate the piece so then I set out to find an employee and there wasn't one in that area. I walked back down where I started and finally found someone. He was useless. His response when he couldn't find it either is that I am going to call it we don't have it in stock even though his little computer thing said otherwise. He finally found the employee who worked in the area in the break room. She came out and didn't have a flipping clue what I was looking for. She told me the website isn't reliable on what they have on hand and they are working on making the better. Needless to say, after an hour, I finally found the part on my own in that area by different parts. The staff needs to have a lot more training in the areas that they are working. So be careful if you want knowledgeable answers. I was so irritated by it all, I wrote into customer service about my experience and never received any type of response from them. Here we are 8 months later and my husband wanted to try it out and we did. Plus, I was on the lookout for canning lids. We noticed many things are pretty expensive and even if they say clearance, it doesn't seem like a deal. The store is large and clean. They have many different types of things, but I don't find myself frequenting it. We did ask one person where canning stuff was and he knew where to send us at least. We had a rebate and the cashier told us where to get the paperwork, but it was empty so we had to talk with customer service. No canning lids and the bullets are very limited. So, they are picked over like many other places as well. Both visits, the cashiers were friendly. We did, however, buy some of their trail mix and dried fruit and were...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe kids and I had quite a bit of a scare at the N. 60th street Walmart. While walking down an aisle a man turned to us and ājokinglyā said, ā are you following me?ā I replied, ānoā, and we immediately turned down a different aisle. Both kids were in the cart⦠but I was uneasy. A few aisles down I noticed he was behind us. He then made the comment, ā I must be following you now.ā and kept walking towards us. I was extremely freaked out. I immediately went to the front and told the attendants I was uncomfortable. Our next stop was to Fleet Farm Sioux Falls.
I went to buy a holster. I can hold my own on knowledge of fire arms- but I did not know the holster size I would need for my pocketlite. As I approached the counter there was an employee standing at a computer, I did not see anyone else around he could be helping. I politely said, ā excuse meā two times with out a reply. As we were in a store, I said, ā excuse meā a little louder thinking he may not have heard me since he did not give any acknowledgement. Without looking up he snapped, āJUST WAIT A MINUTE!ā In a very rude tone. As I went to walk away, tears in eyes another employee, who said he was new, offered to help me the best he could. I expressed not only to him but also the cashier how rude, and unhelpful the man at the gun counter was. Neither of them offered a manager for me to speak with. I left with a holster I was unsure would work⦠and in tears. Iāve always gone to Fleet Farm first, never again. I do not expect to be catered to above anyone. But he did not even have the courtesy of looking up. If he had he would have seen a mother, in tears, scared, and in need of help. Needless to say⦠itās...
