We had an amazing experience working with Lynette as well as the staff the day of.
Our story is probably similar to a lot of weddings from the past few years, where we had to reschedule. We originally were going to be at a hotel using the big meeting room two years ago. Then things started closing down, and due to this paired with family medical concerns at the time, we had to reschedule. The person at this hotel who took my call was not the same person who helped us out originally, and was not able to work with us on scheduling as far out as August the following year. We lost out on the deposit per the contract with this hotel.
I then thought, what about locally owned? The Social jumped out to me right away after seeing a Facebook ad and I decided to reach out.
Lynette, from day one, was incredibly welcoming. As we told her about our vision of the big day, she was sharing in our excitement. She was also great to provide a recommendation to Accents Event Design & Decor Rental to help with bringing color and our style to the event room.
My experience before the wedding:
Excellent communication via Facebook messenger, phone, and text message. Streamlined invoicing process for deposit and related items. Lynette reached out as I had mentioned my parents were in town prior to the wedding, inviting them to stop out with me so I could show them the space. She helped coordinate with multiple vendors so we could have kegs from local breweries, and three different food caterers. Lynette was a true partner in planning our big day.
My experience at the wedding:
Encouragement. Saving the world last minute with grabbing some emergency cutlery and plates for one of the food tables as that vendor didn't provide their own. Set up and take down was very seamless. Lynette, Kris and Kris' mother (from Accents Event Design & Decor Rental) were setting up the night before past midnight to have the majority of it done. She even sent me a fun snap of the room via text message out of the blue which made my evening! Watching the staff of The Social work, everyone knew what to do and it was really cool to see how good with people they all were. The outdoor space was a great add-on, and they made the space look lovely. A genuine congratulations was given to us from Lynette. Again, The Social felt more like a friend to be invited to our big day, rather than just a vendor.
If you're looking for a really neat space please check out The Social. Our event had several young ones and the whole evening went by without a hitch. Follow The Social on social media as they'll lift up when the next open house event is, or, you can message them directly to set up a tour and see if it's a fit for your event.
We are both over the moon about the experience we had. Our neighbors have also booked with The Social for their big day next year which is pretty cool.

From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the venue. It radiated a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for our esteemed clients and guests.
The service at The Social was top-notch. The staff was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They catered to our needs with a smile, making our guests feel valued and well taken care of.
One of the highlights of the evening was the live band, and the space couldn’t have been more perfect for it. The acoustics were excellent, and there was ample room for everyone to enjoy the music, whether they preferred to be up close to the action or to chat at a comfortable distance.
The venue comfortably accommodated all our clients and guests, promoting an environment where connections were made and strengthened. The layout allowed for easy mingling, and the ambiance added to the festive spirit of the evening.
In conclusion, The Social was instrumental in making our end-of-summer party a huge success. We are immensely grateful for their impeccable service and facilities. If you want the owner messaging you ON THE DAY OF YOUR WEDDING and ruining the day of your wedding so she can make a point, I say go for it and deal with this lady. She had me in tears ruining my wedding. I have proof of everything. She was one of the worst people I’ve ever dealt with and honestly I should have known with all the bad reviews she had. NEVER AGAIN. Like I said if you want your wedding day ruined go for it and deal with the owner of this place. It’s okay to ask for kids to respect the place but what’s not OK is that I tell you that we will take care of it and we will have kids watched and yet you continue to harass me and text me after I told you I will talk to you about it the following day.
