We live about two miles away, so we're frequent customers. Their candy room is amazing, and so much fun! There is just SO much to choose from. Gummies galore, chocolate-covered this and that, hard candy, soft candy, chewy candy, taffy, fudge...I could go on and on. If you're craving it, chances are they have it. Sometimes, I just pop in to grab a bag of chocolate-covered pretzels, they're SOOOOO good!

The prices ($2.99 per 1/2 pound, and they haven't raised them in ages) aren't bad, either, depending on what you get. You just have to be smart about what you put into your bag. If you're buying something like after dinner mints, saltwater taffy, chocolate-covered pretzels, or other lightweight candy, it works out to a pretty great deal overall. On the other hand, if you're buying a pound of, say, Swedish Fish, then yeah, you're paying a lot more than you would in the grocery store. But if you have young kids, though, the joy of picking out their own candy is worth paying a little more for those...

We have frequented this store since it opened in 1986. I now take my children with their grandparents. Unfortunately, our last experience on February 16,2020 was horrendous. The manager, Pam, RUDELY spoke to my older child in front of other patrons regarding the samples. Her comment was uncalled for and disrespectful. I approached her calmly at first but when she started wagging her finger at me and laughing at me and scolding me as his mother, I was beyond disgusted. She did this to no other family ...those of which whose children were putting their bare hands in the candy bins and whose parents were dumping the sample into their hands rather than using the provided spoons. It’s a real shame, for my children too, who will now have to lose out on a long time family tradition because of the rude, disrespectful, and obnoxious store manager. We will now be taking our business to Grandpa joes in Stroudsburg where you’re treated...
