Dollar General — Local services in Smithfield Township

I had bought diapers there yesterday, well my husband did he he was supposed to get 2 different sizes and like dg has the sale for 2 for 20 he got 2 boxes of the same size. So today I thought it wouldn't be a problem just swap in it to a different size. I didn't bring a receipt which is my fault...but like I was just swapping she seriously was trying to charge 1695 for the box instead of the same price I got it yesterday for..mind u I go in this dg all the time. She literally wouldn't just let me swap it and wanted to charge me the differece...if the sale is 2 for 20 individually they were 1195 so where did the 1695 come from..so I seriously had to settle for the ones that were 2 for ten instead of her just swapping the box of diapers...Wich made no sense...customer service there is horrible..i will be going to family dollar from now on or just drive a little further for the next...

Went to the store to pick up soap and fabric softener. I notice the store shelves were a bit empty. I notice a cage full of boxes that were not put into stock so I kindly went to the front register to ask if it was possible to get two fabric softener and the lady that was in charge was wearing several braces was nothing but rude and then after being nothing but rude to she pawn me off to the young girl that was working with her. She was complaining that she can’t lift and had a major attitude. The young girl was very nice helpful and pleasant. As a paying customer who spend money there was surprise to see they had someone in charge that was rude loud and obnoxious. It took every thing I had not to stoop to her level of Ignorance and put her in her place! Management needs to resolve this attitude problem she has before someone...

One day before my knee surgery, I hobbled in there to get a few things before the hospital in a few days. And, of course, luck would have it, I was 92 cents short. The woman at the register, I wish I knew her name, put the money out from her pocket. And, she helped me with my bags out to the car where my neighbors were waiting to drive me home. She wished me luck with my surgery. Made sure I got in the car ok. She was so sweet n kind. I went back there the other day, and gave her a dollar back. She said no at first. But, then I convinced her to put it in the draw. She remembered me and asked about my knee. She saw I'm still limping but getting better. Yes, it was under a dollar I owed. But the kindness she showed me was Priceless. Kudos to Dollar General for hiring such...
