TA Smiths Grove — Local services in Smiths Grove

Idk. $17.00 for a shower that took water 10 minutes to get hot. There were hairs and pubic hairs all over and the no soap. I guess we can just ad that up to inflation. 🤨 Then it was scolding hot. As usual, more amenities for the damn 4 wheelers. I love when o go to a truck stop as a trucker and I pay to park $21.00, pay for a shower $17.00, pay $23.00 for two nearly expired iceberg lettuce salads with hardly anything else in the salads and all the while the clerks can't seem to be less that interested that I am in line, tell me to wait while getting checked out as after all I fuel at these places and can not get any answers from the help about why I shouldn't even have to pay for most of this. Makes me feel great every day when I drive hundreds of miles and have to deal with all that us truckers deal with only to be looked down upon at the places that were supposed to be designed for us and then pushed aside so that the pushy people that ride our asses and cut us off, brake check us and then come to the truck stops to get all the amenities like drive through and so on. No Def fuel available for big rigs, owners, managers, were pushy, & kind of rude, there machine denied my card, never happened at any other truck stop, took forever to get check processed, took care of other customers that came in after me before finishing my transaction that he started on, receipts don't list products you purchase, just taxable, non taxable, so, couldn't see if discounts were actually applied, all in all a very, miserable stop, & experience, I will never stop there again for fuel, or food!!! I have to give a star in order to post my review, if I had my choice I wouldn't give them any stars at all. Oh, & I feel bad for any Active Military or Veteran's that are unfortunate enough to have to stop here, I was wearing a set of my old BDU'S that I didn't wear except for inspections. Yesterday I had PM from TA in WV ,I reached kY ,Parked my truck at Beaver dam truck stop ,In morning I found a complete drain out of engine oil ,I called to TA WV explained the situation which happened because of human error and acceptable because the man who changed oil was very efficient and quick as he also checked and balanced my differential oil level which was causing cracking sound from front suspension, in short TA WV immediately took action and arranged & send Road side service from TA Smith Grove KY who appears within couple of hours if not mistaken his name was Jon ,he fixed the issue & Refilled the oil within half an hour and put back me on road which allows me to pick my next load on time. I really thankful to all TA management specially TA Hurricane WV and TA Smith Grove KY as their proper correspondence saved my day and there Road side service didn't left me help less and took approriat action which i deserved .
