Taco Bell — Restaurant in Smiths Grove

We frequent taco bell weekly. But we usually go to the one in the town over due to this location in the past messing up our order. Today was no different. In fact much worse. We took a chance and sent my mother. At first, she ordered wrong and when she got to the window she handed them the paper it was written on so they would have it right. They ended up giving us an extra item since they had started making it at the speaker while she was ordering. The woman at the window was rude and my mother is getting over neurological issues due to a recent accident she was in. She couldnt understand her clearly because of that fact, thats another reason why my mother gave her the paper at the window to ensure everything was correct. When I called back I asked who I was speaking to. The manager was instantly rude. Just told me he was the manager and didnt give me a name. I explained to him the problem and the extra item. He insisted the order was correct because he made it. Even though the order was in front of me and clearly wrong. He also acted like it was okay due to the extra item. Which I didnt understand. He also kept rudely interrupting me and raising his voice when I was trying to speak and the woman in the background kept insisting it was right as well. The problem could have been easily handled. But they picked another route over a $43.00 order. They also put 8 empty Quesadilla bags inside our order for some reason. Which I couldn't explain to the manager since he was talking over me. We will be contacting corporate over how rude and disrespectful the manager and employee was to their costumers. Especially to a costumer with a...

When they’re actually open, they are a good Taco Bell. They can’t seem to honor their hours any more though. Before the truck stop became a TA, they were only open until 10:00. which is right about the time most truck drivers need to get dinner. After the truck stop became a TA they said they announced they would stay open until midnight. Well that didn’t last long because only 5 weeks later and they’re back to being closed at 10 PM along with every other fast food joint at this exit. If you’re going to close early, update your hours on Google. They probably just aren’t paying their staff enough to keep anyone working here so they can keep it open for any reasonable amount of time. Do better on hours and maybe I’ll be able to come eat there. Truck drivers are your primary customer so it’s probably a good idea to accommodate...

I recently visited Taco Bell and decided to treat myself to a steak quesadilla. Imagine my surprise when I opened it to find a game of "Where's Waldo?" but with steak. Spoiler alert: Waldo was easier to find! It was like Taco Bell had employed a minimalist artist to design my meal.

On the bright side, the restaurant was spotless. I guess they had plenty of time for cleaning since they weren't busy cooking steak. The staff was friendly too; perhaps they felt sorry for me and my empty quesadilla.
