Such a fun, family friendly atmosphere! Two very big things have kept me from giving a 5 star review. Each one takes a whole star off in my opinion!
The food. It's just not good. I've given it a try multiple time now and was unable to even finish my food this last time. My chicken strips came out before I even made it back to my table from ordering and they were obviously just warmed up, not made fresh and had a weird metallic taste that not even the sauces could hide. I know people probably aren't going here for the food, but if you're foodie like me, maybe pick somewhere else to eat before or bring your own if you don't want to be disappointed.
Lack of non-alcoholic options. As someone who does not drink alcohol, it's a total bummer when a place that sells a plethora of alcoholic options, does not offer non-alcoholic options. The only options I was offered were soda or water and when you don't drink soda, that only leaves water. I love water, but I also would love to be able to enjoy a fancy/fun drink with friends when I go out. A non-alcoholic beer and/or mocktail would be a fabulous improvement and would absolutely get more people in the door. Would love to return when the drink options become more inclusive, maybe even bring my sober group to...
Read moreMy favorite range around! Plus I have the added benefit of it being right down the road from my house. Their largest bucket of balls is $10, and gets you a little over 100 balls. The range itself has it's largest portion of tea boxes under cover with gas tube heaters above them. The.... clubhouse (?) has a few fridges stocked with a surprisingly large selection of adult beverages, everything from beers to ciders.
The miniature golf is a lot of fun, along with fairly challenging on a few particular holes... On nice days the mini golf is much busier than the range itself. Also it is completely lit at night with large flood lights, and they stay open fairly late. A few times that I've gone with a group of friends, the owner gave us free vouchers for the highest and lowest scoring people in the group. Which was very cool.
Oh and for my biggest bias. On a particular night, a group of my friends played basically right up until close in the pouring down rain. It was obvious we were the only ones there, and likely keeping the gentleman from going home early. Yet he put up with our shinanigans the whole time, and was very polite and professional when we finally turned our clubs in.
I will be coming here for many...
Read moreWhen I called and asked how Father's day would work with the mini golf (few days before Sunday) I was told by a female employee on the phone there would be a ticket number system and I wouldn't have to wait in a line: I would just wait for my number to be called. This is why I chose to come here and not Willow Run on my Father's Day I hate lines: Google search "Cartman hates lines at amusement park" for reference YouTube video. But when I got there, i actually found a line not only to just pay for the mini golf, but there was actually another line to wait in to play mini golf! So there was no number system in use (11am) like I was told on the phone. So I was very disappointed, didn't wait in line for 45 minutes like it would have taken, and obviously didn't play mini golf with my son on Father's Day after driving many miles and walking through a wet grass field they called a parking lot. Idk if I'll return cuz place looks cool but bummer...
