Food King — Local services in Socorro

Some of the cashiers are super friendly but they do have some really rude management and some cashiers that think they know everything... I go to this store often because it's on my way home but. ..on easter Sunday I went in got over 150 of groceries and a case of beer for a cook out. .I guess the cashier was upset because she had to work on that day. I was putting the groceries on the belt as she was charging the items my 20 year old son handed me the case of beer from the cart because the cashier wanted the cart I was trying to hurry up so that's why my son handed me the beer and took the cart to the end of the register to get the bags. ..the snotty cashier called the manager and didn't tell me anything until she was charging the beer and said it was against the law for my son to have handed me the beer and that she could refuse to sell me the beer...NO ITS NOT AGAINST THE LAW..IT'S STORE POLICY. ..GET THAT STRAIGHT....and I explained to her that he handed me the beer because she was rushing to get the cart and that no its not against the law and that it might be store policy but not against the law and that she could have told me when he was giving it to me no need to call a manager and get her panties in a bunch and that if she wanted then I would not but anything and I could go to another store then if she was going to be so upset....They need to work on there customer...

The worst experience ever! I was waiting in line to pay there were long lines and only 2 cashiers, It was almost my turn and one of the Employees named (Andy) told me he was going to open his register that I could pay with him, I went to the register unload my whole groceries and he just walked away without telling me anything, i was just waiting for him to come back with my whole groceries unloaded, when he came back he told me “I’m not going to open this register “ he walked away and left me there with everything unloaded I had to put everything back into the shopping car and went back in line to pay my groceries, I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager he said of course an old lady came and she was very rude she came to me and said “Que paso yo soy la manejadora” I told her the situation she only told “ it was a mistake I will let him no that you were mad”. I asked for her name and she told me “Griselda” but in her name tag it said “Kim” It was very rude from their part. They didn’t apologize at least or anything. I had never had any problems like this before...

There's a lady I guess she's a manager she works in the evening time and she's just rude just plain rude you know and no such thing as customer care there. I don't know everybody seems to be to them selves and no smiling or anything just not a happy place to go to it's very depressing going there to be honest with you. You know the employees are just I guess they're not happy working there. It's just not a friendly place at all now I go there just about everyday but I wish there was another store closer cuz I would go to another store you know but I'm sure other people don't go back because of the customer service and just the whole environment. I think they all need to be trained in customer service and or retrained I don't know if they've been trained or not in customer care and needs and such. I just believe that retraining will probably help I guess over they get a raise or something but they're obviously not happy working there just not...
