Above and beyond! I live in NC and had to make an unexpected trip to CT. My sister and I had been talking about how we can't find bras that fit correctly ANYWHERE! We have been blessed by the t*tty faries and are not runway models. No appointment, we walked into The Bra Ladies. Maria greeted us immediately, all while taking care of another customer. She told us the story of how the store began and how she came to work there full time. This is a family business, and we felt how much they care and are dedicated to whatever business they own. So let's get down to the nitty gritty. If you want to go somewhere that just needs a sale, go to VS. Maria is not going to let you walk out of there, putting you in a bra that's just "ok". You have to LOVE it. Be honest with the things you are looking for. She's magical, but cannot create something that doesn't exist, and will gently let you know if your expectations are unattainable. I wore a 36-38 DDD (weight fluctuations) from VS. The underwire was in my armpit, had gaps, and no matter what I did strap wise the girls were low. We tried several products. One made Maria's nose crinkle and she said "No, that's not it". I walked out of there with my girls at least 2 inches higher. It made me look thinner and like my boobs matched my body! Finally!!! We told her why I was in CT. Our Mom had emergency open heart surgery. She IMMEDIATELY ran and got a post mastectomy bra for our Mom so that in the coming summer months her girls wouldn't sit on her belly and cause a yeast infection. SHE GAVE IT TO US! My sister and I got very emotional. Not only did Maria give us quality customer service, but she is a wonderful human being! This business deserves our patronage. You deserve to walk out feeling like a million bucks. The best part is you don't have to spend that much for quality care and service. Run! Get your girlies fitted...

Oh my GOODNESS!! I absolutely LOVE this shop and Maria! I am 60 and haven’t had a bra fitting in forever and finally realized I needed a fitting because gravity lol. I made an appointment online and Maria confirmed with me. I went with my husband and we were the only ones there (he sat in the lovely back room) so I felt very comfortable. Maria is so SO nice and made me feel comfortable which I appreciated; she funny too! She did my measurements and sure enough I was wearing the wrong size bra: I am not in fact a 42D 😂. I told Maria what I like: support and full coverage. She picked several choices for me and I tried each on. I ended up selecting a traditional underwire with a really pretty pattern, and surprisingly I picked the structured scoop bra from Evelyn & Bobbie. It is akin to a sports bra (no wires, pull on over the head). OMG. That one is LIFE-CHANGING! The fabric is so, so soft and it fits like a DREAM. I am a 38DDD so I thought I could never wear a bra like this, but boy was I wrong. So so flattering and comfortable. In fact we just got home and I ditched my old ill-fitting bra for the scoop bra which I am wearing as I write this. And trust me, I immediately take off my bra when I get home everyday. If you are even considering going- GO! I always pass this place and I see their ads in the papers and me and my mom always say we should go and then we just don’t. Bra buying has never been a great adventure for either of us. We decided on a whim today to go because the bras we both had were falling apart insert laughing emoji and there were appointments available for afternoon and we scheduled them like 30 minutes before leaving the house. We arrived and had to wait a little bit for the party in front of us but we weren’t in a rush and we just sat down in another room until Eleni was ready. This was a total mind blowing and positive experience not only for me but mainly for my mom who has many body image issues. Eleni knew exactly what to pick and if we didn’t like it she picked something else. If they don’t have your size/color they will order it for you and she said it ships for free. Yes, it is pretty pricey, HOWEVER….. you get what you pay for. I think after going there today I wouldn’t buy a cheap bra anywhere else I’d rather spend the money countless times for this experience.
