Amoda Spa — Local services in Somerset

So I recently moved to Somerset back in November I and I been looking around for a good nail salon and just was in fear of trying new salon as I normally used to a nail salon in Taunton where I am from I googled places and came across Amoda Spa when I walked in this more I was treated with such kindness by the owner Sue I told Sue I’m new to the area and needed my nails done as I will be going on vacation this weekend to Puerto Rico I explained to her I wanted something cute and simple and showed her what I wanted she showed me around the salon and had me pick the color to my toes as well as she was so helpful in helping me pick the color she then paired me with Vanessa that was also amazing at first I wasn’t sure if she was gonna be able to pull off what I wanted but Vanessa pulled it off so well the came out exactly like what I showed her she was so nice and polite the salon is very clean great atmosphere and Vanessa was nice to talk to and get to know the whole staff was great I will definitely be going back I loved everything about the place and the girls that work there thank you ladies and Vanessa thanks so much again I can’t get over how amazing my nails came out definitely meet my expectations see you again when I get back from...

I tried this place 2x and really wanted to like it. The salon staff will repeatedly ask you if you want champagne. If you say no the first time you will be asked again. It’s a nice gesture but not everyone drinks! Why is that so surprising? Service was mediocre at best. The last time I went for a pedi it chipped on both feet after only 1 week. That’s never happened to me before and I’ve been getting pedicures for years (I’m new to this area). There was also an accident where the water from the pedicure chair majorly leaked all over the floor and got my shoes and handbag soaking wet. Once they realized what happened, I spent the rest of my pedicure with multiple people mopping up water around me. They could have moved me to another chair to finish, but no instead they just kept saying “pretend we are not here” while people all around me mopped. I understand this was an unfortunate error but it could have been handled differently. Extremely disruptive, zero relaxation and high stress for me. I wasn’t given any consideration for the inconvenience of having to walk out in wet shoes and had to go home and dry out the contents of my purse. This was not what I wanted. Unhappy,...

I feel like I need to tell the whole world about this spectacular location! The people there are truly amazing! Not only in their talents but, also the atmosphere. It’s truly welcoming. I always feel like family when I’m there. One of the biggest things for me, is being at a location that is clean and accommodating. With Amoda, I get all of that and more!!

My go to girlie is Irene. When I tell you this woman can literally do anything, I genuinely mean it! She is so talented!!

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing a few other nail techs there and let me tell you, they are all extremely talented! So, no matter who you choose, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I also go there for my lashes. Hailey is my go to lash tech. Always, pleased with her work! She is so easy to talk to, always makes you feel comfortable, and always makes sure you leave there with flawless luscious lashes!
