EDIT: Upped original review to 5 stars. A year later and honestly blown away. Blown away by breakfast is crazy. Just as I fixed my lips to complain about the price again, I had to shut up. It’s SO good. Worth every penny. Cinnamon topping uniquely sweet and not spicy (crème brûlée latte). Every detail is perfect. Couldn’t update the pic of the sandwich since I ate it too fast but it looked 10x better than what it even already did. — First time visiting, and I can say it was way better than my general expectation. Girls were super sweet, A1 service. Some things are fairly pricey, but arguably it is on par with value. Every item has a twist that makes you want to try it all. The bacon egg and cheese is a phenomenal crunch, craft, and unique finish with the hot honey. The fresh cheese on the Asiago bagel is a standout. The flavor of the pistachio latte wasn’t heavy in favor of the espresso as much as I’d enjoy, but it also was not weak in typical fashion of local coffee and was still very good. The only let down was the malassada that was fresh-ish but served cold and not too sugary. They would be an entire notch above if they were fresh-to-order and warm. I honestly would get the same order again, if not come back to try everything else. Again, the prices make it a little out of budget as a regular staple, but I’d definitely come here for a treat day. Good local gem, hope to see them continue in growth.

I was finally able to try out society, after hearing so many wonderful things, and I am so impressed! I ordered an iced salted caramel oat milk latte, with a linguisa egg and cheese on a croissant. The egg was fresh, And I liked their unique take on a grilled croissant. It was unexpected and delicious! I absolutely love their coffee products - salted caramel is perfectly sweet and great quality. The espresso in my latte was absolutely delicious and fresh. The inside is gorgeous, they did a really beautiful job with the interior design. It brings a nice higher end restaurant to little old Somerset. I haven't tried their espresso martinis but I have had three people tell me they are the best they've ever had! I see a lot of reviews on here about their pricing - But that is the price you pay for high quality. If you want fake eggs, lukewarm breakfast sandwiches, coffee that tastes like gasoline, then go to dunks. You get what you pay for! Support small businesses 🩷

Newly opened coffee/bar in Somerset,Ma. My two favorite places to go to rolled into one. Went for breakfast and had Kentucky Straight Latte which was great and a breakfast sandwich which was also great. Went back that evening for drinks and munchies. The So-ci-e-ty Na-cho-s were out of this world. (Pic added). The Matcha Made in Heaven apparently was the best drink my wife has ever had in her life ( she needed 2 ). The New Fashion was also good but being big into bourbons I was expecting it to stand out a bit more from the standard Old Fashion. Will have to try the Rebel Yell next.Parking was a bit tight but it's only the 2nd night for those festivities. The atmosphere was friendly and warm, a little bit crowded with everyone trying it out. Will have plenty more occasions to go and try everything. Somerset has gone up a multitude of notches bringing this establishment into town.

THE SERVICE:

Staff offered a friendly greeting as I approached the counter. Employees appeared approachable and displayed positive attitudes as they assisted guests opting to dine in. As a new customer, I was unfamiliar with the menu- so I appreciated the employee’s patience and helpfulness.

The Atmosphere is welcoming and trendy. The cleanliness and modern decor is eye catching.

THE COFFEE & CONFECTION

I ordered the iced Cinnamon Bun Specialty Latte with oat milk, and the Strawberry Cheesecake Cookie. The Latte tasted good with undertones of cinnamon sugar; the swirl was pretty but didn’t add the “icing” taste I was expecting. Overall, I enjoyed the flavor profile- which wasn’t too sweet. A standout, the beverage had the perfect amount of ice.

THE VALUE:

The large iced speciality latte appears to be at the higher end for price and size, but it includes choice of milk, and you’re not duped with excessive ice. I did not feel overcharged based on the quality, customer service, and atmosphere I experienced.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Unless it’s my own user error, the website is functionally useless for allergen information. This extends to the website for the cookie vendor.

The Strawberry Cheesecake Cookie has a product ingredient (pudding or jello- I cannot recall at the time of this review) which has its own separate ingredients not listed on the packaging which could have contained my allergen.

I overlooked this while in store when I did a cursory glance at the ingredients on the package.

Based on the customer service I experienced, I’m confident i would have received additional known allergen information if asked. It’s my oversight, and I take full responsibility for my allergies. Once at my destination, I doubled checked the ingredient list on the cookie- which is when I observed this and attempted to look up the information to no avail.

I’m making note for awareness purposes, because it’s extremely important for your vendor’s products to have a complete...

Hosted a private event with Society’s Somerset location and it did not disappoint! We were able to rent the whole shop for a cocktail party for a birthday. The esthetic and vibe of the shop is perfect for a cocktail style party. The GM Adam made the planning process very easy. He was enthusiastic about the event, from the decor to the playlist, even to the cocktail list (Taylor Swift TTPD themed party for reference). Our bartenders for the night, couldn’t have been better; Supervisor Liz and Nicole- they made us fabulous cocktails all evening. They were super friendly & all the guests had a great time thanks to them! They even helped with all the little details: packing and labeling left overs, cake cutting, and helping break down decor. Can’t forget Chef Joey with the amazing bites. Guests loved the nachos and quesadillas, also raved about the tacos. The flavor the chef adds to the food really elevated the basics and made you wanting to go back for more! These aren’t just the basic nachos, tacos or quesadillas! We ordered some cookies and brownies from the shop’s preferred bakery- which were just as delicious. Overall, I can’t thank the Society team enough for everything they gave to our event- you won’t be disappointed hosting here- and neither will...
