Dollar General — Local services in Somerville

My most recent experiences at the Dollar General stores has not been the best. They have continually run out of milk,bread,mountain dew and even lunch meat. The other day I needed a couple of hose clamps and some pvc-glue. The temperature had dropped below freezing the night before and one of my cousins water line froze and busted. The Dollar General in Somerville, Alabama did not have anything that I could use to repair that line. The people that I'm referring to are not well off due to the covid-19. I had to drive into Hartselle in order to get the necessary material to repair the line. In my opinion these are small items folks and should be stocked at the local Dollar General,but that's just my opinion. The store in Trinity Alabama has run out of milk on two different occasions recently. My day job is an electrician, but I have side jobs that I do for people in several of the small communities in this area. Neighbors, friends or family always have something broken or needs to be repaired. Your mom and pop shops have almost been run out of business by the large corporations. But I remember a time when a person could get things like that,even on Sunday. We don't have that anymore so Dollar General needs to step up and start carrying the things these folks need out here. Teresa is very rude and unprofessional! This is not the first time that she has totally humiliated me..She gets loud and angry when she has to put any thought into helping a customer! After snatching the item from her side of the counter out of my hands, she demanded that another cashier check me out. .Thats where things got stressful.. She continues to talk about me to the other customers in line.. She kept giving me mean eyes.. I shop at doller general all the time.. I try to avoid this location because of the prior incident with TERESA... Customers reached out to me on the side and said she was so mean and wrong for how she was speaking to me.. Even the other employees agreed that she was a mean "old" lady... They blamed it on her age!?!?.. I however ,have meet some of the sweetest souls ,that were ALOT older then her! Age is not the problem!! She hates her job and/or her life and takes it out on folks.... She needs a new job! I bet im not the only customer that y'all have lost because of that mean lady... Convenient location, would have an absolute monopoly on the area if it became a Dollar General Market (a Piggly wiggly and Save More used to be at this 4-way, but they are just too big I think for the demand. A smaller bodega like the DG Market would be just-right I think, wink-wink nudge-nudge), after already running the nearby Family Dollar out of business. However, pretty much every time I come here, what I'm looking for isn't in stock, especially if it's in the fridge or freezer area. Again, seems to indicate a demand for perishable goods and foods. Fix the stocking issue (more and better labor, it can be hit or miss when I visit this and nearby stores) and/or increase the availability of perishable items (like a market addon or simply more space to stock things) and I think it would be vastly improved.
