So I walked into the salon to see them vacuuming at 7pm. I waited for them to tell me to come back later/they were closed but they asked me what I wanted to get instead. I wanted them to remove my acrylic nails and a manicure. I sat down and sensed the urgency of the everyone in the salon even though they're open until 8 so I said I'll just get the acrylic nails removed rather than a manicure as well. The lady was persistent in saying I should stay and that I need a manicure especially after getting acrylic nails removed. I was hesitant but I decided to stay. I even asked what time they're open until and she said 8 but they're not busy on Mondays so they leave early (???). She filed and buffed but when it came to applying the polish, she painted it in a matter of two minutes - very rashly. And then after she was done, she asked me if I wanted to leave or wanted to stay to let them dry. Like what??? Obviously I'm going to stay to let them dry! She told me I could only stay for a few minutes??? Drying is the most important part. It was only me and her in the salon even though it was 7:45 and she was rushing to get out. Thank goodness a mom and daughter popped in or else I would have been kicked our with wet nails. I just don't understand why you have certain hours if you decide to leave early. Either shorten your hours or stay until the time you've allotted. A lot of people come after work and would love to be pampered...
Read moreSeriously, Do not go here. Trust the comments— I wish I did!! This was a horrible experience.
I honestly don’t believe some of the workers are certified to do nails. The pedicure was extremely basic—no soap to scrub the feet, no lotion, and absolutely no spa-like experience.
When it came time to paint my toes, I noticed the polish was clumping. I mentioned this to the technician and could already tell from how she was applying it that it was going to be messy. She kept using the cuticle pusher to fix the polish, which only made things worse. I explained that the issue wasn’t the nail polish itself but how it was being applied. She insisted that a top coat would fix it, but it only made it worse.
I asked her to just remove the polish so I could leave. While removing it, she filed so aggressively that she actually burned two of my toes and told me I’m sensitive… Excuse me?!
I asked multiple times to speak with a manager and was told no one was available. A woman at the front eventually said there was no manager on-site and then suggested I pay $30. I was shocked—$30 for what? I left $20, just to be polite, but the quality of service I received wasn’t worth more than $5! Keep in mind I walked out with ashy...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. I got a gel manicure, the lady soaked my previous gel in a bowl of acetone and literally left me for 15 min while she went to go do a pedicure for someone else. It wasn’t until I had to literally ask where the hell she is for her to come back (the lady getting a pedicure was not happy)
She then proceeded to take off my old gel polish by SHAVING it off which is NOT how you take off gel, she shaved so much that my nails literally started to burn! I went in with strong long nails and now they’re so paper thin and weak because of how much she shaved off.
Her paint job was HORRENDOUS! The nails are so bumpy! The cuticles are not clean! Look at my pictures! My thumb is like so bumpy! ALSO THERE IS PREVIOUS light pink gel polish from my old polish that I see!
The worst part! The owner, LIN, super rude and nasty told me they can’t fix my nails because they are busy. Mind you she told FOUR customers to come back in 30 minutes because they are busy. If you can take FOUR PEOPLE in 30 minutes you can definitely take me! I asked for a refund and she said they can’t process refunds and to come back at 7:30 (in 45 minutes) how does that make...
