Worth the adventure to get here! You've got a few options. Kayak from Emerald Bay (after hiking down the hill), kayak from another beach such as Baldwin Beach (no hike, longer kayak), or cruise by on a boat/jet ski.
We opted for the Emerald Bay kayak and it was a highlight of our trip. Parking is very limited and you've got to get there EARLY, but once you're on the kayak it's incredible. The tea house is in ruins but makes for lovely photo ops.
