Taylor Creek — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

Wow just wow, if you’re ever in the mood for a back to nature moment try Taylor Creek in So Lake Tahoe Ca… strolling through the trails and at every turn you see beauty in the landscape. It’s calming, beautiful and the sounds are so pleasant and peaceful. I love this place winter, spring, and fall… you’ll have to check dates in the winter. It’s also a place where you may run into a few bears 🐻 as they love to fish here. Enjoy your time here...

We were at Lake Tahoe in the exact right week to visit the Taylor Creek, the concierge told us. It sure was! It was the last week of October. The salmon fish were running up the creek. I was completely amazed at the creek full of fish swimming up stream. We were told that bears were in the creek to feed on the fish to get ready for their winter hibernation. But unfortunately we didn’t get to see any both days...

We visited on June 11th at 1pm and it was closed. The start points for the trails are not very clear (because located at 4 different parts of the area around the Visitors center building). Also the length of the trails is not listed. The best part was  the dog beach (I think it's called Kiva) at the end of Lake of the Sky Trail. Very upsetting was that Stream Profile Chamber was...
