J&B Liquors — Local services in Southampton Township

So 3 times I've had my card taken by the older woman she says " oh I have to look at your card alot of people have been coming in with fake cards". Interesting because someone who didn't look like me (👃🏿) wasn't questioned nor interrogated about their card. I often wonder what her issue is with men and woman who share the same shade of skin I do. So I'll say people of color please don't use your cards at this location if have money preferably usd it will a tad bit better experience. With that being said if you do come with cash the price will change on impulse, so while it's a double edge sword at least in line she won't make you look like a thief or criminal...... PS she doesn't like to touch what you've touched so it's better to place the money down...

This is my "corner store", so to speak. It's closest to home so I go here most often. But the few times I've needed help finding something, the kind lady who owns the store (with her husband, I think) and normally sits behind the counter is quick to get up and help me look or show me where something is. For some reason, I always expect her to call up one of the younger staff, like the stock boys, but she never does. I just appreciate the help from the boss.
