My daughter went to school here for cosmetology and it was one of the worst experiences of her life and she didn't have a great time in elementary, junior high or high school. As a mother who went here all the time to try to help her out I saw things I could not believe. I was not treated well neither were my other five daughters who went to the school to help her by having their hair and nails done. We were treated badly by the teachers who made up rules. I even asked them to not reprimand my daughter in front of all the clients and all the students and they fought with me and asked me if I wanted to go outside!?!. It was ridiculous. My daughter would get in trouble for being late for not wearing the right color pants. If she was late 2 minutes they would fine her. This school is only out for money. They drug out a year-long program to almost 2 years just to get more money from her. They would lose her time clock times, they would lose information so that they would have to recharge her for classes she already took. And a lot of times the teachers would not show up for classes and the students were left to just do their own thing. She was very diligent in keeping track of everything or they would have taken tons of money from her. The teachers do not know what they are doing. When it comes to cuts and colors they are not educated enough. My daughter spent hours on TikTok and YouTube learning men's haircuts, layering and how to color. Much more time was spent at home learning than in the classrooms. They had her doing perms over and over and over. She was depressed and anxious everyday. Her mental health went down hill. It was hard for me as her mother to watch her. After a year and a half she transferred to American beauty and had such a completely opposite experience. Experienced teachers, kindness, no fees for strange things. No weird rules. As a family we had a little PTSD but after going to American beauty for a couple of months we all realized that it was a completely different environment. I cannot believe that the school stays open and that anyone would give it higher...

I will only use M Tech because the technician was in thinking about money 1st and was very confident in his knowledge. He has earned my business I have some minor issues that he will be helping me with. He specializes in BMW's and I'm very thankful for his help when I 1st met him. Read moreEvery time I’ve gone to the Lehi location, I’ve had a good experience and left happy. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case with the Spanish Fork location.
I’ve only been to the Spanish Fork location once, and I wasn’t satisfied with the results. I had to ask the instructor to fix what the student had done, but I didn’t feel like my concerns were really acknowledged. I explained clearly what I wanted, but the instructor gave different instructions to the student. When I said I wanted curls instead, the student gave me a look like I was asking for too much, which made me uncomfortable.
While some of the students are very nice and eager to learn, I wouldn’t recommend going to the Spanish Fork location if you have something important that day and need help your hair styled. The experience just wasn’t...
