Read moreBeautiful property, I've attended a few weddings and work events held on the property and have loved the atmosphere. They have a beautiful golf course and "Casual-Fine Dining and Entertainment with David’s Grill". But to be completely transparent and honest, I think Red Hawk could take better care of their gym/pool. They shut down the pool during the hottest week last summer because they had issues with cleaning products for the pool and it was changing colors. Gross. Not too sure what the situation was but if they couldn't order them, they should've just purchased it from a store in town. It was longer than expected before they reopened. Locker rooms were a little gross. As far as the group exercise classes, they have quite the selection of group classes. Although Red Hawk should set a standard procedure for class goers. Common courtesy type things that members must follow. Other Pilates studios/fitness classes do not allow other members to come in to the studio early and stand over you while you wipe down your reformer, waiting for you to leave. Studio 2 on Red Hawk property could be kept a lot more clean. The floors are rarely and poorly vacuumed and accumulate a lot of hair from members. There were eggs thrown onto the windows on the very front of the building last summer. It was cleaned immediately, but poorly. It looked like egg was smeared all over the window that you could clearly see and it was like that for about a full month before they cleaned it properly. I hope this place can focus on their gym cleanliness. I would love to recommend this place to friends and family, but like I said, to be completely transparent and making sure I’m leaving a completely honest and fair review, I wouldn't want them to be locked into a contract and see how messy this place can be at times. I’ve contacted the manager, Alicia, a few times about a few things and nothing had been done to correct the issues I was having and she was very passive aggressive. All she would have to do is walk into the studio that she runs and look at the floors and see that it’s not a floor she would even walk on barefoot. Having to ask a manager to vacuum the floors of the business they run is absolutely embarrassing to...
Read moreMan - Got a good deal on golf now. Given the normal price during peak times I was expecting an amazing course. Meh...course was in decent condition but the setup was annoying. 2 club houses, 2 places to get food and drinks, was redirected multiple times. Got there an hour and 15 minutes early but by the time i got a breakfast burrito, my cart and loaded things from my car l had less than 20 minutes to warm up. the lakes course was difficult and thats not the courses issue, thats mine. But at least one or two holes that aren't par 3s where you can actually see your ball land would be appreciated. most par 4s and 5s your driving into unseen territory. The food - absolute garbage, and ive had bad food in my life. this takes the cake. the "to go" snack shop at the turn advertises a bunch of ready to go items, but only half were ready to go. OK no biggie - get the chicken caesar wrap. It was mushy and terrible with wilted lettuce. Its as if they took an uncooked tortilla and stuffed it with last week's leftovers from Raleys. For a course of this "stature" I expected more. Wont be back unless it’s free and someone invites me. gag me on the experience here.
Oh - and dont even get me started on the golf carts. no where near the green and they cut your speed to 1/2 mile an hour while yelling at you to get on the cart path. meanwhile players behind you wondering why the hell you're moving so slow on your golf cart. sorry - taking me 20 minutes to cross the fairway.....
Oh and lastly… rocks in the bunkers??? Sorry but I spent way too much on clubs to let you ruin them because you have rocks in...
