Apparently Google constantly feels the need to ask me to give a review on this walmart, so here it goes: This walmart is in a small town which means, it isn't a super walmart and does not have a tire center. It is a; get in, get your basics and leave type of store. Customer service is 5050, sometimes you get someone that is lively, others act like you are an inconvenience to even show up. They are pretty strict on the Sunday booze laws so do not think sweet talking the old lady at the cash register will get you the liquor any quicker. They literally only have the basics, like I said. If you need anything specific, you are better off going to Bloomington, Indianapolis or Terre Haute. It is usually pretty clean and no, they do not say or do anything to those that do not wear a mask even though their signs say otherwise (I'm not one of those people, just stating facts). Bathrooms are a hit and miss. If there is a storm of any sorts coming, just avoid it because the whole town can be found here or Babbs freaking out over bread, toilet paper and milk. I was surprised to find some vegan hair care...
Read moreMy grandma and I came to get some groceries and pick up prescriptions. Everything was business as usual, until the register messed up while we were trying to check out. It kept giving the same error code on each card we tried using to pay. When the cashier asked the manager, David, for help he totally blew her off! When she asked for help again, finally he came over to "help". He was immediately very rude to my 75 yr old grandmother, talking over her when she was trying to speak. It was all I could do to keep my composure and my mouth shut! I was fuming but I didn't want to embarrass my grandma any more than she already was. He sent us to a different register where we checked out with no problem at all, which confirmed that it was never a problem with the debit card. This is not the first time I've witnessed David (with a little gray koala bear on his name tag) be rude to customers. I understand retail is demanding and can be stressful. That being said, if you are unable to handle a problem at work without being hateful and condescending then you have no business working retail, let...
Read moreOver the weekend I was in Wal-Mart with my daughter. One of the cashiers, Katreena Delp was in the store and made it very clear that she could do whatever she wanted without any repercussion since she was off the clock. I hadn't done anything to her except smile and say hello without a response from her. Then she proceeded to be extremely rude and nasty about me loudly enough for me to hear it as it seemed was her intention. Then, when I told her that was not true at all she went unglued. I told her that since she works there that was not very professional. Her only response was that she was off the clock so she can do and say whatever she wants and good luck trying to get her in trouble. I for one have to behave in a professional manner both off and on the clock so I do not know how she can get bye with treating anyone like that. Other than this rude, hateful, disrespectful, unprofessional woman, Wal-Mart has...
