Weis Markets — Local services in Spring Township

Mostly alright. I mostly go during the wee hours of the morning since I work overnights. That's generally when they're stocking shelves and it's quiet. They usually have everything I like in stock and the club prices are fairly convenient if you're a fellow on a budget like myself. Pharmacy staff is pretty quick and polite. Wish they had more options for less processed food, but that's the US for you, so it's not really on Weis. I've never had issues with the quality of product or produce there and the fish and meats I have gotten there before have all tasted fine. The only thing I've ever had to return was a bottle of nail polish that my cousin didn't need because she didn't like the colour. I've never had issues with any of the staff that work there.

So, reading the other ugly reviews, perhaps it should be suggested that the reviewers take a Xanax and have a glass of wine from next door. It's a rural grocery store....

If you're an avid cook who cares about the way your food tastes, avoid this store. "Fresh" meat will be put out with a sell by date 2 days after the pack date, and if it hits that date it will be absolutely rancid. All Weis stores in the area have this problem though, so it must be their supplier. Every other grocery chain in the area has sell by dates 1-2 weeks out from the package date, and is usually still okay for a day or two after, but the low quality garbage Weis is selling is unusable unless you use it on the packed date. Even then, it just doesn't taste good most of the time, especially the beef. And don't even think about fish- fish only smells or tastes fishy if it's gone bad, but that's the standard for the Weis seafood counter.

Also, my wife hates coming here alone because of there are several creepy male employees who seemingly go out of their way to harass any lone women...

Disgusted!!!!!!!! I went shopping today was shopping for approx 2 hrs which is normal. I went to check out and only 2 checkouts were open. I got in one waited behind a couple and an older lady. I knew it was taking some time bit it ALWAYS does at this Weis. Then the couple finally was done and walked out. Not even two minutes after smiling in the couples face Jarrod (a worker from Weis) began making fun of the couple saying some people have no consideration for other people and him and the lady in front of me were essentially laughing at the couple. I am furious about it. I told Jarrod that he clearly had no respect for other people if he thinks its appropriate to make fun of a customer to other customers.
