I have to share that this is probably my last time shopping with Weis. I’ve grown up shopping at your stores and have always enjoyed shopping with you but with a recent store manager change in the West Lawn, PA location it has become unbearable. Every week they have changed the store layout with no directional signs as to where things have moved to and no employees around to ask. Weis quality products have been removed from the shelves and no name brands are now littering the shelving. They’ve added another row of shelves to the top of the aisles where they just throw overstock up there in total disarray. Additionally the employees, if you’re lucky enough to find one, look absolutely miserable. I’m a regular Sunday morning shopper and many of the employees know me. They’ve shared their feelings about the new store management and changes made. Lastly today I spent 25 minutes waiting in the checkout line because there was one register open with five very full carts in front of me. When a new register opened a teenager gave me the worst attitude and mumbled the entire time complaining about my order because he had to look up my vegetables I purchased and because I wanted to pack my own bags. The last straw was his attitude when I tried to use Apple Pay which I use every week and the machine wouldn’t register it. He just needed to press a button on his register and either did not know how to or based on his attitude I don’t think he felt like it. I hope you take my comments into consideration. Read morePharmacists locked up for their 1 PM lunch time at 12:55 while I was waiting to transfer a bank payment to cover an unexpected copay, with my medicine sitting on the counter and all the questions already filled out and ready to be paid. Nice to have the gate shut on me standing right there. Told them I was ready at 12:57 (through the now locked gate... which I stood in front of for a while instead I realized they were ignoring me and decided to politely say something) and they said they said they can't do it. Real classy!
Reached out to corporate and reported the incident and they were very apologetic. It is nice to see that Weis employees think the medicine you need for your health is less important than their turkey sandwiches and PB&J's.
Switched pharmacies to Giant grocery store down the street and will no longer be shopping at Weis for pharmacy or in general. Giant food stores is the next building over and much nicer!
Have had MANY incidents with the Weis pharmacy from rude staff to out of stock...
Read moreI used the online ordering to save time. After I completed my order the site glitched and deleted my order so I spent 45 minutes putting my order in a second time. No time saved here. Then I had put in substuite whatever as I was working and didnt want to be bothered so I get a voicemail I can barely hear something about soap. Call in, and am put on hold for 10 minutes and never talk to anyone. Go to pick up groceries, and after waiting 20 minutes ee's s am told there is something wrong with my card. Ask if I can use other card on file to pay as I left my wallet at home because I shouldn't need it. Nope cant do that. Run home and get wallet and wait another 20 minutes for them to come our and run new card and get home to find even though I clicked substituting with whatever I didnt get half my order.
