WOW - let’s just start with that!

From the moment Robert came to give me an estimate, it was clear he was an expert, and that we were gonna be in business together for this project. I was doing a full media room remodel, and as anyone should know, superior audio and video capabilities is a must have.

We talked through options and landed on a 98” tv with a badass 7.1 Atmos surround sound system to compliment. Given the wall size for my room, the tv option was better than a projector and screen (and more cost effective) so he was able to talk me through that.

Within a few days, we had an approved estimate and were off and running.

His workmanship and professionalism were top notch. My whole room remodel had some issues with other contractors, but Robert was patient to work around them and reschedule based on other delays, as needed. He brought his son, Brandon, with him for some of the install work, and he was one of the most genuine young men I’ve come across in a long time. I have 3 small children (all under Age 8), and he was very sweet and personable with them all. And his workmanship was just as professional.

The pictures attached show the tv, receiver for audio, and some of the in-ceiling speaker mounts (the room is natural dark so the pictures may not be the best). He mounted all new speakers with all wires hidden to the tv. It’s truly a professional job!

What’s not pictured is all the other prograamming and integration he also did. From the sound and video calibration to the lighting and the controls, it was the full deal. He was able to program my A/v system with the current lighting (sconces and step lights) to run off the same app and integrate with the A/V functionality (I.e. if you pause a movie, the lights will automatically turn on to a preset level, etc).

These are the options I chose to go with, but I’m sure there’s no job too small or large. I’ve actually referred him to my parents for a smaller job to just install a bigger tv and modest upgrade to the audio in their living room (they are still using a 48” tv with audio from the tv)

After moving into my new home in the Houston Heights I needed to purchase new tv's and all the equipment that makes them work. I am not very knowledgable about the lastest technology but knew I wanted things to be esthetically pleasing and fast. I also did not want to pay an arm and a leg for someone to do the work. And I wante dthem not to screw up the walls of my new home.

I shopped at Best Buy, CostCo and online to get a sense of prices. In my search I found Audio and Video Dreams and called to get a quote. Robert Hamer came out and provided and detailed quote and an understanding of what would happen, what I needed and how it would look. We even investigated building the components in my wall versus me needing to buy and new piece of furniture to hold everything.

The job was done while I was at work and I came home to a clean house, with a new system in my living room, in my daughter's room, and in my master bedroom. Robert came back out and trained me on the systems and how to run my cable. Once he took my call to help me over the phone as I had forgotten a good deal - it was late at night and he stayed on the phone till the movie I wanted to watch started playing from my Apple TV. I was quite impressed with his customer service.

The pricing was comparable and I felt better using Audio and Video Dreams as I knew I could get the same person who knew my home instead of needing to work with a larger firm, like Best Buy where their employees did not seem too knowledgabe.
