I have been an Exclusive Furniture customer for years. Unfortunately, last September I purchased an italian leather living room set. At the time of purchase I told our salesman, Chris, that I wanted to the FULL SET. Sofa, loveseat chair, OTTOMAN and coffee and end tables. He told me that I would not be able to get the ottoman until a month or so after the purchase. I told him that was fine as long as I got this in its entirety. Fast forward to the next week. I received the furniture without the ottoman. Still ok! Chris then called me about 2 weeks after delivery stating that the ottoman was in and that it would be delivered on saturday. I was totally fine with that. Saturday came and I received the call from the delivery guys and said they were on their way. Several hours went by and nothing. So I called the salesman. Mind you I CALLED THE SALESMAN. At which he told me that the ottoman would not delivered because there was a mix up on the ottoman and I would not be getting it. So I told him that he needed to come get all the furniture because I wanted the FULL SET. I spent around 10k on this Italian leather suite and expected them to keep their word. He then tells me that I would not be able return to get a new suite because the other portion of the set had already been delivered and all sales were final. I replied that it was not right and he knew I told him numerous times that I wanted the full set. It took him over a month to refund my money on the ottoman and PROMISED me that he spoke to the owner and at which point Chris stated that they have ordered the ottoman from italy and it wouldn’t be in until March. I told him many times that this was not the proper way to handle this and that he needed to have his supervisor call me. (at the time of sale the supervisor also told me that it would be no problem getting the ottoman). I continually called and texted and I could never get a supervisor on the phone. I expected that when you spend this much that you should be able to get a freaking ottoman. Again they promised me that the owner ordered it and it wouldn’t be coming in around March. Well here it is almost the middle of June. 3 1/2 months later and still no ottoman. I’m more than furious and at this point would never purchase from exclusive again. It’s very disheartening that a customer, no matter how much you spend, should never have to go through this. It’s not my fault and I should not be stuck with this when there is no ottoman and it’s not what I paid for and explicitly told him I MUST HAVE THE OTTOMAN. I understand sales maybe final but Exclusive should be held to their end of the deal as well. I asked many times for a supervisor to call me back and not once did I get that. I have texted and called many times. I’ve even emailed them and have gotten no response. Ive done the live chat and no response. I’m about to go to my local news station and report this since no one can answer me or even give me a call back. EXCLUSIVE FURNITURE I HOPE YOU SEE THIS. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER AND GET THIS RESOLVED ASAP. If you look at your sales I purchased this set around the middle to end of month of September. It’s a tan leather set with coffee and end tables. My contact information is still the same.The ONLY reason I’m even giving them one star is because have to add one. I also wanted to say that I’ve been very patient through this ordeal and have always been patient. It hurts me to type this because I’m typically a customer that loves to say nice things and steer away from negative feedback. But again, this is very disheartening that I was lied to, ignored, manipulated into thinking that I would be getting the FULL SUITE! Beware!! Don’t let the furniture that you see excite you because it is not good quality at all ever since I’ve had my furniture, I have had to make a claim with the protection plan because every time someone sits on my couch, it leaves a stain from their clothing on the couch! I called today 2/17/25 and talked to Kristen who said she was the supervisor in the corporate office Which is unreal because she was so unprofessional over the phone call.
that goes to show you they hire anybody and give them a title and pay them minimum wage just to say they are a supervisor just to make them feel good because if Kristen thinks she was a supervisor she needs to be retrained re-schooled because she had no class no professionalism at all.
