This has been the absolute worst experience buying furniture. Let’s start off with our first delivery. We received a bunk bed with steps and drawers along side. The steps were all scratched up. We got a very nice dining set with 8 chairs that wobble back and forth. (That’s one day leaving work) We contacted Bel Furniture and requested this to be fixed so they sent someone out with a brand new set of scratched steps. Yes scratched again. I tell the gentleman that my dining chairs wobble back and forth and he proceeds to take a rubber mallet and bang on the chairs until they stop wobbling. Well this seems to work except for the fact I now have chairs with cushions that are not attached anymore. (2nd time off work) I called again and let them know. Tech came and looked at the chairs and said they are supposed to bang on them but not leave the cushions falling off so he put new screws. (3rd time off work) We get a call from someone saying they are going to replace all our furniture on a Saturday and will call the morning of. So we moved our schedule around and they decide at 2pm to call and say they will be there at 3pm. Last time I checked 2pm wasn’t the morning. (4th time off work) Received a call today saying they need to schedule a time to drop off the Ottoman that wasn’t delivered in the beginning. At this point they just come and go as they please and can’t make one trip on our time to fix this horrible experience. Someone needs to take charge of customer experiences within this company.
Update* “District Manager” calls today and is very rude. Horrible tone of voice. Someone really needs to work on costumer service.
First payment made and I am paying for brand new damaged furniture and I am still missing the ottoman for my couch
New Update The third attempt at switching out the bunk bed was a fail. This time the stairs were cracked. Please see attached photo. I have yet to receive a call from anyone from corporate. I’m now on my second payment with sub par scratched furniture**

Read moreMy husband and I purchased nearly $5000 worth of furniture from this store. Our salesman Kurt was great and I believe that he was the ONLY best part of this experience. He went above and beyond to ensure that he was fair in the pricing of the items and he explained things thoroughly. Our problem with this store is the lack of communication when it comes to the arrival of items and the delivery of items. They did not take it upon themselves to CALL ME to inform us that our bed came in but not our night stands and that we would have to wait another month to receive the nightstands. The only reason I knew that is because the delivery drivers showed up with the bed but no nightstands. So when I called the store, that is when I was informed. I was also told that my table would arrive on January 2, and delivered a few days later. Called to make sure it arrived and was told that it did not and would not be in for another 2 weeks. It has been multiple situations with under-communication on their part. I then turned around an ordered an ottoman from Ashley Furniture with ZERO complaints. The Ottoman was delivered 4 days later and within those 4 days, Ashley Furniture representatives were emailing and texting me frequently with updates about my order and delivery status. Completely different experience with Ashley versus Bel. And I generally do not like giving bad reviews but this was totally unacceptable to say that we spent nearly $5000 for multiple pieces of furniture verses the $198 I paid at Ashley for 1 piece of furniture. When we asked how they would compensate us for the CONSTANT issues that we have had, we were told..."I will check with my manager and let you know." Read moreWorst experience ever. Their policy says someone has to be home when delivering. We were not home and yet the guys still wanted to go in because they said they couldn’t come back. So, we allowed them to come in. The men set up a full bed and then left and sent a picture. As soon as we received the picture we called and the guy and he didn’t want to go back because “he was behind on time and he didn’t think the twin bed would fit!” Mind you we had asked him to set the full bed up first and then call to discuss whether the twin should be set up or not. He did his own thing. He came back and half assed the twin and left no instructions for the pieces he did not assemble. Mind you the twin fit. All he had to do was set the desk and drawers to the side which was fine. The wood was scraped here and there, the top panels for the wood had holes they drilled themselves instead of using the ones already on there, they put a panel backwards, and didn’t even finish the top of the twin. We kept calling the store and each and every time we were asked to call corporate. It wasn’t until hours later a lady had us text pictures but yet did not get back to us. We had to call on a Monday(there is a 3 day window to return) to see what was going on. Even then they wanted to charge extra to reassemble their mistakes. We are asked to take it apart and take it to the warehouse in Katy to get the pieces ourselves, upon approval from corporate (pending). This was just too much.
