Normally, Iād have great things to say about Fareway in Harrisburg. Most of the staff is super friendly and in the past Iāve had great customer service. Itās been so nice having a grocery store right in town. Today, I bought some groceries and the paper sack was packed full with everything, including a bottle of captain Morgan. I grabbed the paper bag out of the car and the bag and the bottle broke and got everything in the bag all sticky and dripped all over. Normally, I wouldnāt call and complain but it was a $20 bottle and should have been bagged separately. I called and the guy that I talked to was very helpful and told me that I could have my husband come pick up another bottle after work so that I didnāt have to get our baby all loaded up and head back. He said he would fill Sheila in and to just let them know. My husband gets there and she was extremely rude. She told my husband to go grab a bottle and taps on it with her fingernail and tells him that itās hard to believe that the bottle broke. If I would have known that she was going to act like we were lying, I would have taken a picture of it but unfortunately, the glass was all over and it was a sticky mess in my driveway and garage and I didnāt expect that kind...

I went to the self check out for the first time and there was a gal standing by watching and helping if someone needed help. It was my first time using the self checkout and I was going to move one of my bags to my cart so I had more room to bag more of my stuff, she quickly snapped at me said that I had to leave my bags there until I was done scanning, I didnāt know thatās how it worked. She then backed up and when I looked over at her she rolled her eyes at me. I have never experienced that kind of treatment in that store and it really upset me !! Iāve never seen her there before so she must be newer. I have always believed in supporting our local stores but this event will have me going elsewhere !! I purchased 3 boneless pork chops today at a price of 2 for $5. What I actually received was 1 boneless pork chop and 2 boneless pork ribeye chops. The boneless pork ribeye chops were priced at 2 for $3. There were plenty of the boneless pork chops on display, so this wasn't a substitute that was needed nor was I told about the substitution.
This is the third time this type of "mistake" has happened in the last couple of months. At first I thought it was just a simple mistake. Now I am beginning to wonder if this is intentional.
Of course, the package given to you by the meat counter employee is wrapped in white paper so you can't actually see what you are paying for until you get home and prepare to use it. This is theft,...
