Handicap parking is available for the Soccer Fields but it is more than 500 feet from some fields of play in particular field 13 and 14. The walking path is an unimproved surfaces. It is extremely uneven and difficult to walk with a disability. There are no paved paths that the disabled can walk without twisting their ankle, knee or fear that they may stumble, fall or aggravate an existing condition with the potholes in the 'walking areas.'.
People with an injury, crutches, canes or wheel chairs can not navigate these obstacles without unnecessary difficulty.
This could be easily corrected but Springfield Greene County Park Board has decided to ignore this need for decades.
