Handicap parking is available for the Soccer Fields but it is more than 500 feet from some fields of play in particular field 13 and 14. The walking path is an unimproved surfaces. It is extremely uneven and difficult to walk with a disability. There are no paved paths that the disabled can walk without twisting their ankle, knee or fear that they may stumble, fall or aggravate an existing condition with the potholes in the 'walking areas.'.

People with an injury, crutches, canes or wheel chairs can not navigate these obstacles without unnecessary difficulty.

This could be easily corrected but Springfield Greene County Park Board has decided to ignore this need for decades.

I cannot fathom their unwillingness to help the disabled to see our children's or grandchildren's...

Food is what you would expect - a little overpriced and greasy, but several options.

Entrance staff isn't the friendliest - they wouldn't let me in after promising my wife would be there in 15 minutes to cover my $2 cash entry.

Here's the deal, my son ended up having to go play the first 5 minutes of his game without me. I couldn't watch because who carries cash these days?

Construction people are constany driving on the path that's for walking only. I take my brother who has severe autism here every day because he is unsafe around vehicles. There is a way to access the construction zone through the main parking lot, so I am perplexed as to why they drice their vehicles all the way around the walking path to get to it.
