Dollar General — Local services in Springfield

June 16th- clearance event. I went into this dollar general to shop as I always do. This morning I came in to buy the laundry beads & the manager Debbie started screaming at me saying - YOUR NOT BUYING THEM ALL…. I am putting a limit on it…. She can not do that for one. I called corporate & they’re fully investigating this matter. Then she went on to tell me - you come in here often & but a lot of our things…. AND…… I thought I was supposed to come here & SPEND??? Be aware of this lady Debbie. The nicer I was to her, the meaner she became. Uncalled for. I will not ask them to get a ladder to reach me anything anymore. A full summer with no air conditioning paints a grim picture of neglect, a clear indictment of the current ownership's indifference. Poor Customer Service!!! The general manager is lazy and acts like he hates his job! He never wants to ring up customers, I have witnessed him various occasions leaving the cash register to find another employee to ring up customers. The sign in front of the store says they do western union. I was told today that they don't that. So why have a sign advertising something you don't do. The shelves are never stocked! The store is an accident waiting to happen. They can never offer cash back at anytime ,so why advertise that too. This store is a mess and if it wasn't convenient I would never...
