Southway Bowl — Local services in St. Cloud

Went for Bowling, beer, and pizza on Friday night. No one was there so they said they would just bring us pizzas to our tables which was fine, but when we asked for more within the window frame of "unlimited beer and pizza" they told us no. Our balls kept on getting stuck but we were always the ones that had to go searching for the staff in the bar who were sitting on the customer side drinking with their customers. 11:10 came around and no music or lights...and its supposed to be cosmic bowling at 11. We asked if it was happening and we got told, "oh, no one asked for it to be put on so we didn't do it" Isn't that part of the night?! Why do we have to ask?! Overall bad experience....

This place has a nice vibe on a Friday night! No drunk belligerent folks, it was pretty family friendly. One negative thing that I will say right off the bat was that the staff was a bit short and rude when asked simple questions about payment options. (They don't take American Express) Otherwise, the space was clean, the lanes were nice, and we had a good time. The other negative is that they didnt play music which was a bit weird. It kept getting turned up then turned down to points it couldnt be heard and others conversations were the most prevalent sound aside from the lanes. Would still go...

Staff wasn’t welcoming, they were on their phones the entire 2 1/2 hours my group was there. When I’d come up for assistance as the lane kept breaking down they acted as if I had disturb them by because they actually had to do theirs job and I caused them an inconvenience lol. They never apologized for the fact I paid money and the lane kept breaking down and was clearly not working properly. They also pick and chooses what customers they will be nice to. Felt like a race...
