2/11 Video Games — Local services in St. James

Honestly not the best gamestore to go to. Personally the worst ive went too. The owner (or who i thought was the owner) was nice and the place seemed way bigger in the pictures than when you first walk in. While the selection of games was good, they were overpriced like crazy. 2-4 times the amount that they are worth. The place was dirty and reaked of cat poop. And speaking of the cat, while it is adorable it would not leave me alone. It was rubbing on my legs, licking me etc. i felt very itchy all over my body the whole ride home. I don't recommend this store unless you like the smell of cat poop and like overpaying on everything. And while this isn't against the owner/store in any way, a lot of games had no manual, and the place is not easy to find. Also i edited because i thought it was the owner and turns out it wasn't. That is a mistake on my part. I'd disregard what the owner replies with because I came on Saturday August 2nd around 2ish. So the store was open. The owner is LYING. I don't know who Kathy is. I just like to play and collect video games and I personally think this store isnt a good store to spend money at. Again, store is overpriced and this isn't going my flea market prices. This is going by price Charting and ebay prices. If you keep getting harassed about the cleanliness of your store then obviously there is some truth to this. And dont forget he said they clean the store...

This shop is a real hidden gem with some great selection along with perhaps the most personable shop owner you might ever come across.

One critique: I've been in and around the Southport area for the last few years and knew this place existed, but could never find it.

In the past, I would drive up to the Uhaul parking lot entrance and look around before just leaving again. Today I finally decided to drive deeper into the business park and if you get to the fourth row of buildings, this location is tucked away near the end of the row. Look for the pink signage!

Some paint lines on the road to show there are locations to turn in and perhaps some paint lines in the parking lot for parking would be helpful to hinting that there is more in the back beyond shutter storage units would be great to see so others can discover this...

I absolutely love this place. Been coming here steady since my first trip and it is always a pleasure. So many good items. I particularly love the t-shirts. They have quite a bit of older brand new shirts. I was very excited when I discovered they had some old Amazing Spiderman shirts from the Andrew Garfield movies from when they were first released. A super amazing find after the release of No Way Home. I also love the improvements to the place. They built a gaming cabinet of sorts that sits out on the floor. Different game on it...
