I live in Northern California and my father Spencer Tedford lives in Clarks Nebraska. About a week before Thanksgiving, I saw a short video in regards to Veterans from WWI, Pearl Harbor, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam war and the upcoming Veterans Day Video memorandum. I was in the kitchen and I had turned around for a second and just at the exact same time, I was shocked to see my 95 year old daddy in army greens, with his medals on, as well as his Merrill's Marauders book, Certificate of Service and framed flag. My father who has lost a lot of his voice was talking about his service. When I was able to regain my composure and mentioned that it was my daddy, I was sent a message from NNTC that the full interview was going to be published on the 25th. I wasn't feeling well yesterday and so I forgot. NNTC sent me a message today asking if I had seen the full interview that was released yesterday. I immediately clicked on the link that was attached to the message. I watched with great pride as my daddy told his stories about the mules who carried the bulk of the equipment, ammunition, tent etc. up the mountainsides, only to lose their mules from fatigue and falling in the swamps getting caught up in the bamboo. My daddy was shot and bayonetted during the war, he never said anything about it. I want to Thank You with ALL my HEART for going through such great lengths to not just tell my father's story but every person's story from WWI all the way through every war that has been a part of the history of the United States. To have such an amazing and compassionate group of people who put this together is so commendable and there's not enough Thank You's in my heart to express to all of you how much this means to me. You all deserve great big hugs, heartfelt thank you's and know that you have given a lot of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren memories that we may never have had. God Bless you all. Much love, ...
Read moreI have been a customer with NNTC for 12 or more years. They have always been high priced but we were willing to pay it for the service. However, with the new change to "FiberFast" we received or first bill and it was 200$. I don't know anybody out there that would spend that kind of money on internet service. They said they offered a month free of services so you could see where your bill would be ours was 55$ so I figured since that reflected it I would keep going. Well apparently I wasn't reading the bill right. So I came into the next month blind sided by the bill and all customer service can say is I am sorry I'll offer you a 20% discount. How about you offer me the price I agreed to pay on our contract? But no even with a 20% discount I am paying double what I paid before. I hope that their employees are looking for other jobs, because their Board of Directors are running this company straight into the ground. Internet should never cost the prices that they are charging now. I have since left NNTC and moved on to a different company. One that does what normal companies do and offers a flat rate for unlimited services. For a family that is tightly budgeted a surprise like that could make or break them. How disappointing that this company...
Read moreI think it is great that we receive money back each December, however what I am more impressed with is the people who work with us when we have questions, problems, etc. The technicians that service the Morse Bluff area are the greatest. They are always so friendly and work above and beyond to take care of any tech issues. I can say the same for the main office people we call when we have questions on billing for our internet, phone or cable service. I would also like to thank our Board for all their hard work. I sincerely would like to thank everyone for such a positive experience from day one for us. I believe we started service with NNTC in 1981. So, yes the money back is great, but the service out weighs it by a ton....
