I have done business with AVX since 2007 I have had several remote starts indstalled by installer Jason lundblad . There has always been some kind of install issue ranging from wiring issues to compatibility issues due to a improper install. I have had several appointments scheduled for having my remote starts installed as i have had removed from prior installs as I traded in on a new vehicle , Rich Erkens(Owner) and Jason Lundblad have found some lame excuse to call me to cancel at last minute ranging from they refuse to reinstall a unit that was originally installed by someone else because they always come up with the exuse that they double booked or want prepayment for service and they refuse to install a system that was intalled by someone else . Don’t believe them when they tell you the customer missed the appointment due to a no show they have a tendency of cancelling appointments without a phone call or any knowledge from the customer . Recent Jason installed my Compustar in a 2017 Chevy and did such a poor job to the point that the cm7200 fried and no longer works and now I cannot start my vehicle due to a improperly installed E-Lock relay and had to have it towed home( $200 Charge) a cannot start it or drive it and I am out a cm7200 brain ($150.00 Value and a $120.00 BladeAL Ingition Interface .I also Requested to have him program a das II in both my vehicles one which he installed and had not completed setup and the other one refused to set up due to lack of time which I had Zach look at his schedule and the times he said he was busy Was not true. Also last Friday my 2017 Chevy started remote starting by itself in my garage and I had to manually overide it . The fob stated Timer mode was turned on on all 3 fobs which was not turned on by me(never used it) this happened 3 Times in a 4 hour period if we did not catch it or this would of happened when we were asleep we could have died (.hope avx has a good insurance policy) The reason that this did this is because of exposed wires on the Compustar that were not shielded when it was installed by Jason. Do not trust avx as they will take your money and don’t warranty their work and want to charge again even though I already paid and they expect prepayment from all customers because thier booked solid according to them which is untrue they are just hurting for business so they will try to take it from who they can when they can don’t be a fool and fall for thier scheme what company has you pay for work performed when they don’t even know what the bill will be . Major props to Cory Terres for going far beyond the call of duty to assist, educate, trouble shoot, diagnose, and fix multiple home theater/stereo system issues. My aging set up was in a bad state of disrepair. My husband of 30 years was an electronics genius who always handled our tech needs. Sadly, he passed unexpectedly 3 years ago. I had no clue where to turn. I required lots of hand holding as this entire process was beyond intimidating. AVX to the rescue! I had a million questions. Cory delivered time and time again providing the information download I needed. He explained things in terms I could understand and never once lost his patience. Cory was friendly, eager to help, and genuinely enthused about the products he represents. Top shelf efficiency start to finish (courtesy followup text was most appreciated!). I now own a beautiful new 65-inch Sony OLED TV and high performance Integra DTM-7 stereo receiver! Furthermore, my vintage Polk Audio speakers sound like new! Both my son and I are lifelong musicians/music nerds/audiophiles and couldn’t be more pleased. Everything runs and sounds like a dream! Read moreAfter numerous dissapointing experiences at the local "big box" store (it's initials are also B B but they don't stand for "big box", lol I'm sure you can figure it out) I said to myself, "self, why don't you go to the FAMILY OWNED store that has consistently excellent reviews and is owned by a former co worker I worked with years ago and who has always been extremely passionate about audio and video as well as very knowledgeable!" That gentleman is Richard Erkens, co owner (with his personable wife Jodi) of Audio Video Extremes and I am SO happy I made the WISE choice to drive over to his store!

On the fantastic advice of Rich, I purchased a wonderful 55 inch Sony Bravia television and I couldn't be happier with it! His pricing is very competitive and ethical and his delivery staff is top notch. They brought the television to me and completely set it up in my home and the delivery guys were extremely friendly and caring!
I will be doing ALL of my audio video shopping here now instead of "the B.B. stores!
