St Joseph IGA — Local services in St. Joseph

Parked in the parking lot for just a few minutes. I understand it’s a private parking lot. All the individual needed to do was tell us we couldn’t park there. He was complete and utterly rude about it. He told us in a very threatening tone that he has already called to tow truck after 10 minutes of being parked there and that the sheriff is right across the street and will be contacting him next. I told him thanks for letting us know so we don’t get towed and to have a great day. He continued to walk away and say something that I couldn’t understand. Basically mumbled while facing other direction.

Due to the unprofessionalism and complete rudeness I will not be shopping here ever.

No need for this type of behavior and shouldn’t have individuals in customer service that treat...

Went in to purchase hand breaded chicken tenders for lunch today. There was a young man new at the counter who had no clue what he was doing. I asked if there was a special on tenders and he said there was. I asked for a pound he preceeded to bag up chicken wings. And older man came up behind me and one of the more experienced women helped him and she gave him the chicken tenders I originally asked for then told me i would have to wait while more were cooked. I said never mind. She responded that if i didnt like it i could put her apron on and come behind the counter and work. I left the store angry. Stopped in to grab NYE dinner items to avoid stopping at bigger store. The small town atmosphere was a great change of pace. Busy even midday but not a problem to get needed items and get out quickly. Though a little pricey as compared to the big stores it was well worth it to get hometown friendly service. Meat selection was really good and the store was very clean and well stocked. Definitely...
