Tobacco Palace — Local services in St. Marys

Ive been coming here for years now. I've always raved and let people know about its great selection and nice lounge. The thing that has made me rethink this place is the staff. I just finished a cigar and was told i had to leave right away if i wasnt still smoking. There is never anyone here. This stems from infighting from the staff that SHOULDN'T affect customers and I'm frankly tired of it. Its become very unwelcoming. When the staff comes in and reminds you to leave at 7:30 because they want to go home on time at 9pm. Aaron you need to fix this!!!

The petty nonsense that doesn't involve customers between employees shouldn't be taken out on the customers. I as a customer have NOTHING to do with that but i see it spill out in the lounge constantly.

Why is corey always in the lounge? Shouldn't the rule be employees not ALLOWED in lounge unless to clean or help a customer. Very uninviting atmosphere which seems to "this" customer that employees dont like the lounge being used AT ALL...

My fiancé and I went in there on a Tuesday. We walked in holding hands got what we wanted then proceeded to check out. As the cashier was bagging our items my fiancé ran off to check on an item that caught his eye. I simply held my hand out for the change and the cashier refused to give it to me. He stated word for word “Our policy doesn’t allow me to give you change.” He never explained the policy to me. So I held my hand up to show I am engaged to my fiancé whom I share thousands of dollars monthly for our bills. My fiancé saw there was a problem and ran up to collect the change. As we were walking out the cashier turns towards me and says, “Even if i noticed you guys were married (engaged) I would still only hand the money to him. Good selection great products the reason I am giving only one star is because of the brain dead employee that I gave 5.25 and my product was 2.15. He gave me back 2.86 and I told him that he owed me $3 and some change. The employee must have been in auto pilot because I watched him put my quarter into the register along with the $5 and he stated I never gave him the quarter. It's the principle of the matter, I don't understand how this kid can't even do a simple job properly. He had glasses and curly hair with a hoody. I'm sure the business is great but definitely not the best first impression! This happened 12/31/19 around 7:30 so whoever the owner is please check the register record to see if it was 25 cents over to prove the arrogant...
