Camden Battlegrounds — Local services in St. Marys

I usually love collectors stores like these, I don’t live in Georgia but on my visit I saw this little store out of the corner of my eye and decided to go in. The store opens at 11 AM, I get there at 10:58 AM and walk in. There was one lady with blue hair working who was understandably upset about my early arrival, but the way she spoke to me was extremely rude and immediately ruined the atmosphere. I asked if I should leave and come back in a moment, to which I received snarky and backhanded comments about how I should just stay because they’re “basically open.” I thanked her for allowing me to stay and went to look at some of their single cards for a moment before leaving because I felt that I was not wanted in the store. I told the woman thank you for her understanding and to have a nice day to which I received a skoff and silence. I stopped in on a lark to pick up a couple Gameboy carts. Lee showed me around like it was his own home. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoy getting to talk about shared passions, and Lee is no exception. Customer service is top notch, I asked if we could test the carts and he made sure I was a happy camper. I will definitely be back. Prices much better than eBay, and even other retro stores. Really fun chatting about movies and actors with the other clientele, you can tell they are treated like family here. There is lots to do here... this is the kind of place to stop by if you’re looking for a new hobby and find a new crowd to socialize with. This is a nice gaming shop, not a lot of stores around this area and it's great to not have to drive to Jacksonville for things like this. The store is easy to miss from a moving vehicle. The store front is unassuming and the space for the street sign isn't big enough. Inside the store is neatly laid out, there are figures and models set up all over the place. There are a couple game rooms with tables for miniatures and card games. The owners are really nice, they'll help you out to the best of their ability with whatever you need.
