Nicollet County Fairgrounds — Local services in St. Peter

I was attending the fair with my 3 great grandchildren and their parents. We were walking across a grassy area and a a truck that was watering a track suddenly pulled up on the grass to inform us we were going the wrong way. The truck rapidly turned with no regard for us. If we hadn’t reacted quickly my great grandchildren would have been struck by that truck. I reported it to a deputy that was nearby and he acted like it as though it was no big deal. What was suppose to be a fun evening almost turned into a horrific tragedy. I did report it to the fair office. I do not know how they handled it. We left the fair...

Nice fairgrounds. We typically do all of the grand stand events, which is always hot, but the sun shade over the grandstands helped with the heat some. Unfortunately, a few years ago, the sun ahade over the grandstands got ruined. So now it's extremely hot & sunny there unless you bring your own umbrella. It'd be amazing if the sun shade would be replaced. I know a lot of the grandstands attendees would greatly appreciate it. Especially the ones with small children or...

Most of the food vendors are closed. There's only one porta potty on the north side that's filled up. Only one hand washing station after petting animals that was completely empty. The fairgrounds are almost completely fenced off for no reason so it's hard to find an entrance. This fair has been kinda bad in the past but now...
