They changed the brands to a lower quality brand, but are still charging high prices. Thier meats look fresh on the outside, but when you get it home to cook, its brown inside. They hire people in the deli that do not cook for the community, but the way they like to cook. Food isn't even mediocre. Bought spaghetti and tasted like straight cake. All sugar and no other ingredients added. Chicken is always hard and dry, bland food. They need a manager that cares about the community, not just saving IGA money. And without an attitude when customers ask questions or have grievances. The place definitely smells. Fruits and vegetables are wilted old. This community deserves better. I was at this stores location on Monday 9/9/19 and what I witnessed what was presumably the manager angry yelling at a customer about a price the store had wrongly put on a 2liter soda. The customer was telling the manager what the price was and could barely get any say so. It was hard to her the customers argument because they were being over talked by the manager. In all the customer was right and did receive a refund but not the most important thing and apology!! The breakfast at the deli is delicious. The fried chicken in the deli taste good most days however, can be hard and dried out. The supermarket in itself is expensive but the meat department has a decent price. The staff is not all that friendly and never around to assistant in locating things within the store. The owner has retires and now the store is under new management. Hopefully he will encourage the staff to be more friendly...
