I learned of Young Again food company from a veterinarian's website that I highly respect. I was opposed to feeding my two senior pre-diabetic cats dry food but they were increasingly refusing to eat their high-quality soft food & wouldn't consistently eat raw or homemade food. They LOVE this food! They are eating consistently, they are putting on needed weight and look & act great - better! They are drinking water regularly (a concern with feeding dry food diet). YA recommends only providing spring water vs. distilled or tap, etc. due to that water being treated with minerals. An 8 pound bag has lasted almost 2 months. This amounts to approximately $27/month to feed two cats so don't be put-off by the $54 price for an 8 pound bag. I can't say enough great things about this food! One of my cats has mammary cancer and with this food and my holistic treatments we are keeping it under control and going on 3 years post cancerous tumor removal. I love reading the reviews on how this food has helped so many cats! I'm fortunate in that my Bengal, Mosaique is healthy from birth and my goal is to keep him that way. He is 3 1/2 years old now and has been on Young Again Zero cat food as soon as he was able to switch from canned kitten food. One of my worries was weight gain after being neutered. I reached out to the owner and he assured me that weight gain would not be a worry using their product. He is absolutely right!! If it wasn't for Young Again cat food, I most likely would not have my cat today. My cat seems to be allergic to everything, but their LID formula is all she can eat without having dermatological issues. She even has had allergic issues with the vet approved hydrolyzed cat foods. Michael Massie and his team as far as I am concerned have the highest quality pet food going. If you have a question regarding their food, the president of the company responds promptly.
