Stacy Sports Grill — Restaurant in Stacy

Stopped in for afternoon lunch while riding the motorcycle. It was about 3pm on a Sunday, and not terribly busy. Upon entering and easily finding a place to sit (bar-side), we were warmly greeted by the bartender and we ordered drinks. She made friendly conversation with us while we watched and even gave us some tips for making them at home. Thanks! Adult beverages were delicious, fresh, and cold. 5/5 stars. Within a few more minutes we had another server ready to take our order. Loved the fast service because we were hungry. Ordered food and had a few more sips. The atmosphere was relaxed, music was just loud enough to hear but not overbearing. Lots of different stuff on TV. Pull tabs were available (we didn't play though) and so was a jukebox. Our food came out fast, fresh, and hot. Specific requests were obliged with quick and friendly service. The food was the best part. IT WAS DELICIOUS. While chatting with one of the other servers waiting for drinks to deliver, she even informed of me the awesome desserts available. Bonus for a bar/grille! Ice cream, root beer floats, and mini doughnuts?! Bonus! Overall it was a great experience and we'll be coming back for sure. The only very minor thing that could be improved was no concrete parking for motorcycles. We parked on the sidewalk, but would of liked a dedicated space. Dined here on Friday, August 16, 2019. The server approached us quickly and took our drink orders right away. A bartender was clearing a table next to us and we asked if they were able to make a salad, in which the bartender responded yes, we just no longer have them on the menu but we are able to make them. Shortly after the server took our food order for a table of 6, I again asked if they were able to make a salad and she responded they can but they are no longer on the menu. We waited about 55 minutes after we gave our order before asking where our food was. After talking to the bartender he stated that it would still be awhile yet. After receiving our food we asked for the check right away, we received them 20 minutes later after asking again several times and just walking up to the register. The manager came over to clear one plate and while turning away from the table made a snarky toned comment stating that salads aren’t even on the menu (that is the only thing he said to our table at that time). This was viewed from our table as completely disrespectful. Overall, the experience was awful. The time spent at this establishment was way longer than necessary for the food served and service received. The manager Johnny was far from helpful he was rude and unprofessional. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwhich and it was perfect. I was very impressed with the chef. The service however left something to be desired. There was about 15 people in the bar and we spent anywhere from 10-20 minutes waiting for each drink. The bartender was more concerned about talking to the regulars than pushing food and drinks. When we tried to pay and leave she just walked away to start talking to a couple at the end of the bar. After 30 mintutes my buddy asked the other server if she could tab us out at which point the bartender came rushing back and made a big deal about how busy she was and us wanting to leave.
