I can't speak highly enough about Leo and his expertise and customer service. I've been to him several times since he opened and was happy every time. A few months ago, I took my phone in for a cracked screen but it was also the LCD screen so I was worried. But he did an amazing job and charged a fair price. But that isn't even the main reason for this review. My phone is known for not having the best antenna, but the past few months it seemed worse (which might not have ANYTHING to do at all with him replacing my screen).
But I went in there last week and all I did was mention it to him and he immediately said he would order me a new antenna and put it in for free. He didn't interrogate me and say "why did you wait so long to tell me" or grill me about what I might have done wrong. He didn't get defensive as if I was accusing him of anything or bruising his ego. He just immediately ordered the part and told me he would replace my antenna for free. I can't even put into words what a breath of fresh air that is.
I've now been home for an hour after he put in the new antenna and have a full strength signal that hasn't budged (which was never the case before), which means he likely just fixed something that was not even his fault for free. The $20 I tipped him (which he tried to refuse twice) seems like not enough and so I came on here for the review because it was the least I could do.    Read moreI've been in the tech industry for decades and Digital Doctor Repairs is one of the most pleasant surprises I've encountered.
I cracked the screen on my basic 15" Lenovo laptop - but I was able to continue using it connected to a flat screen. I was dismayed after talking with BestBuy's Geek Squad, UBreakIFix and similar organization that after telling them what exact model laptop I had that they wanted to keep the device for weeks in order to fix (code for - they send the device "out" for service). In all cases they were more expensive than Digital Doctor.
I found Digital Doctor and Leone as I continued to search almost reaching the point where it would have been easier to pay extra and just buy a new laptop.
Leone took the information about my device, ordered the new screen (which I like better than the original with what appears to be a better embedded camera). Leone also stated he would let me know when the new screen arrived so we could schedule when it was replaced. 2 days later the screen came in, I dropped off the laptop and before I could go next door and finish eating a slice of pizza - THE REPAIR WAS DONE!! It probably took less than 10 minutes - and it was less expensive than the "service" companies.
I highly recommend using Digital for laptop/tablet and mobile device repair! The staff know their stuff! If he was closer to NYC or Philly he'd probably be franchising by now. If you're in central or southern NJ, it's easily the best place for device...
   Read moreI would give negative stars if I could. Dropped off my Apple Watch to be repaired on 7/23, I was told they had to order the part which would be delivered in 2 days. A week goes by and I hear nothing. So I called to get an update, I was told âthe part just arrived this morning and they sent the wrong one, we have to reorder the right sizeâ. Okay no problem. Well another week later I still hear nothing so I called, I get âthe part just came today and we can fix itâ. At this point Iâm over it so I told the guy on the phone I would be there to pick it up and to just leave it alone. I get done work and head there, tell them what Iâm there for and they say they need 20 minutes bc they are in the middle of working on it. I reiterate the fact that I told them not to touch it at this point. Another guy comes out of the back and then tells me he is charging me $50 đł for what sir? He goes on to say, in a very condescending way, âwell if you donât have the moneyâ. No, I have the money but the service has been so poor. I wasnât notified of anything. I got no updates on what was going on. My watch was there for over 2 weeks. The whole situation was just ridiculous.
