The Reuben and turkey club sandwiches were a hit. The Cubano didn't look appetizing, but it was a hit. The chicken penne vodka sandwich (mine, of course) was not the best - the chicken cutlets were too thin and wayyyyy over fried, very tough; then the penne vodka was underneath, sliding everything all over the soft bun - the sauce was the star of the mess, but not a sandwich I would ever recommend as a girl who wholeheartedly supports a double carb (pasta on bread). The Lighthouse Deli is such a wonderful addition to Surf City. Our very first experience was getting a quick lunch for the beach. My Cobb Salad was fresh and amazingly flavorful. The sandwiches and Italian hot dog was equally as good. Our next try was bagels early one morning. To say they get it right is an understatement. Not only were the bagels superb but the coffee was a nice complement to the bagels. The food is amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive. The owner Mike was equally as attentive and beyond friendly. Definitely a worth a trip if you are in Surf City! Good Luck- we will see...

What a joke!! Ordered meat, egg and cheese on a roll, pathetic quantity of egg and meat for the value. Any reviews saying the quality and quantity is good are delusional. Ocean Acres Deli is by far the best in price, quality and quantity. Places like Lighthouse Deli and Bagels & Beyond should be out of business. Why in the world do people continuously patron these places when obviously they don't care how you spend your money, as long as its on them. I will never go to this place again (or Bagels & Beyond).
