This place is everything a local place should be! Friendly, welcoming, and invested in the community, with a selection that'll keep you browsing for hours and coming back on a regular basis, since things are always being added, changed around, or updated. The folks who run it are all so nice, always interested in how your day's going, and- if they've got it in stock- eager to help you find something particular you're looking for, and they work hard to keep the store looking clean, well-kept and invitingly decorated. Plus, there's almost always some kind of sale going on!

Be advised that they only accept cash or check (understandable, given how unforgiving credit card processing fees are to small businesses), but they've always been willing to hold on to items if you need to step out and grab cash and with the Hannaford plaza being a stone's-throw away, there's no real inconvenience when it comes to finding an ATM.

All in all, the Butterfly Thrift and Gift is a destination worth visiting time and again. Thanks to them for being such a wonderful addition...

They have birthdays cards for $1.00 , video games , blue Ray dvd , vhs 50cent , they always run sale $1.00 off...
