I used Sharpe's to repair the engine for my new leaf vacuum and a generator (about 6-7 years old). In both cases the issues I was having were related to bad gas (you can't trust non-ethanol gas from Harris Teeter I guess).

The Briggs & Stratton engine on my new leaf vacuum was not covered under warranty. I completely understand that it isn't B&S's fault if my gas had water in it. I was charged a very fair price of $80 (including parts & tax) to clean the fuel system (including carburetor) and replace the fuel filter.

The generator is older and also needed new fuel lines, tank bushing, air filter and also removing/cleaning the carb.

Both are back and running now. My point for writing this review is to remind people that businesses must earn a profit in order to continue serving the public. They have rent, utilities, insurance and staff to pay. Their labor rate of $105 / hour is fair. Their technicians are trained & experienced so this keeps the labor costs down.

Two years ago I gave a great review. Well I am back to change it to say this place has some of the worst customer service I have ever had. First of all they act like they are doing you a favor by selling you there product and they claim to have a great service dept, I wanted to find out what was wrong with my 2 yr old mower. I told them I was concerned about the price, they said 40.00 to check it out and oh yeah its under warranty . Well a week later they called and said your mower is fixed its 249.00 ,they never called to ask if I wanted it fixed and when I called and talked to Terrell Sharp he was smart mouthed, condescending, and wanted to argue with me. I didn't give them the ok to fix it. His fix is to talk down to me and be rude. I have worked all my life and never ask for anything free, I am so disappointed in this business I have bought multiple items and so has my son and grandson, just to get treated like a thug trying to scam them...

First off let me state that if I could give a zero star I would. Becareful if you take a mower to get fixxed. First was told it was covered under warranty.
