Steeleville Marketplace — Local services in Steeleville

My husband and I have been shopping at Steeleville Marketplace for a few months with no issues. We got a $20 voucher from our local church to help with groceries. I forgot to give the voucher to the clerk after Apple paying, and she said she it wouldn’t be a problem and would start the transaction over. Instead of refunding the money she did a whole new transaction using the voucher, and told me the money was never taken out of my account. Even though it showed the money was taken. So I couldn’t pay for the groceries even though I paid for them…and was only allowed to take $20 worth of the groceries that the paper voucher could cover on the spot. She wouldn’t even give me a receipt . Instead, she took one of the multiple receipts from the stapled pile she had and only photocopied one of those receipts for me to keep. This clerk stole $47 from my husband and I, we will never shop at Steeleville Market again. It’s Saturday now and still no refund...
