I have had to pay a reconnect fee before my bill was due. The bill is due on the 20th of each month. I paid it on the 17th. The thing is the fee was from the month before when I got disconnected 😣. Instead of charging at the moment I choose to pay the bill and reconnect fee, they wait a whole extra month to charge the reconnect fee. I can't wait a month! When I have the money to pay everything I want to pay it then! I don't know in a month how much money I'll have to pay a bill plus extra! Plus a few times I went in to pay my bill and reconnect fee, and they didn't restart my internet that same day.. Sometimes they would take at the least 3 business days and up to 2 business weeks to reconnect my internet. I should not have to wait that long to be reconnect! Today it happen again! I paid my bill and I had to call and complain to customer service before I got it reconnected! Doug helped me out and he had wonderful friendly service! I think Doug in customer service desrvers 5 stars, unlike the company who i give only 2 stars! One more thing they have sent me a reminder that my bill is past due and the reconnect fee will be $12, but they say over the phone no it's $25! I told them I'll show you the proof that your email states $12. The said bring in the email and we will honor the $12! The first two times I didn't have a way to them to show this proof! So I got charged $25 although my email said $12. Today I brought in my proof and they honored the $12 reconnect fee! I'm grateful for that. Thing is they need to update their auto email that gets sent out! If I continue to have issues I'll use a better service! I have friends who keep trying to get me to switch to Spectrum. They say that Spectrum may cost more , but their service is better and their customer service workers...

Last year I was told by a customer service rep that we were paying for 30 mbps, and then the technician said the customer service rep didn't know what they're talking about, and said we weren't going to get more than 15mbps on their equipment they have in our area, and to hang in there because one day they'll run better lines out that way.
