Do not shop here! There are a couple of great reasons. They are very discriminatory and unsanitary. We were there today and this employee that's working there was yelling at an old disabled woman because he thought she was adding extra cucumbers to her case when she was just putting them back in the case because they fell out when she was lifting them. She's disabled so she had trouble carrying it's so some fell out and she was just putting them back in. He was angry in general and that's why he went right to yelling accusations before asking her anything. Had he asked, he would've realized it was not what he thought. Anyways, he was confronted and instead of apologizing, he started going off about people on EBT and making fun of the customer's clothing and said the clothing is how he knows they're on EBT. Saying the clothing was crappy.. No clue why but he just kept saying it and making fun of people on ebt and was making accusations to the lady. It wasn't true but it was his way of throwing an insult because he thinks that low of people who need ebt. It's his version of saying to someone you're a bum. Instead of apologizing, he called backup and grabbed her stuff out of her disabled scooter cart that she had and kicked her out. And he just kept going on along with another employee just making fun of her and throwing threats. They actually said touch us and see what happens to you even though no one was touching them . Then continued to discriminate against people who use EBT and how his taxes pay for their stuff. The lady is from Ohio so it made no sense but he didn't know that, that's how discriminatory he and his overweight coworker buddy are and assumed it because she was Chaldean. There were three guys in the end. One of them was a good guy. The other one was tall, overweight guy and the other was normal guy with dark hair and a partially white goatee. They are very discriminatory it's disgusting. Because of what those guys did, I'm going to file complaints against DreamMarket for discrimination and health code violations. Businesses can't discriminate against people based on their income. This guy along with his overweight coworker, went on and on about ebt in front of other customers. Didn't care if it was going to insult them. That's how bad they were that the lady had just come in the store and don't know her so they have no reason to say it except to hurt someone . Why would EBT be an insult I'm reporting them to the health inspector because we found mice feces in their bulk coconut flakes in the past. We let it go but if this is the kind of operation they want to run then they're going to have to deal with the circumstances. The owner can answer for these type of employees and actions of his business. The one nice guy should be promoted and the other two need to be fired because hurling discriminatory things to customers whether you know them or not and threatening to hurt them needs to be dealt with. They were saying these things in front of other customers not caring that they were hurting their feelings. If those two employees aren't fired, that means they stand by these actions and then I will pursue actions. Where's...
Read moreFirst off, I would like to say that I love the products and the prices. This is a fabulous store! That said, I have had great customer service experience, until yesterday. Helen was my cashier. She doesn’t belong with people.
I was in front of my sister getting my order rung up. Afterwards, Helen chided me, telling me to put my sister’s produce on the conveyor belt. I told her that I had helped my sister at the last store quite a bit, as I always do, and I was very tired (I figured my sister could put those two items on the conveyor belt herself. Helen replied, “No you weren’t. You were looking at your groceries.”
I wish I would’ve taken my $30 worth of food back and told him I didn’t want anything to do with their store after their experience. That was rude of Helen to overstep her bounds. She doesn’t know me well enough to tease me if indeed, that’s what she was doing. Secondly, she didn’t need to treat my sister well at my expense. Thirdly, she doesn’t know the family dynamics of my sister and my relationship for her to comment as such. She doesn’t know why I didn’t help my sister or what my sister’s personality type is, that may have caused me to avoid helping her at that time.. Fourthly, it wasn’t up to Helen to tell me what to do.
My advice to anybody going to that store… keep shopping at the store and enjoying their prices and products, but steer clear of Helen. Obviously, she is lacking in professionalism and in human...
Read moreDream Market is a grocery store that offers an excellent variety of fresh produce and meats at reasonable prices. In my experience, the prices for fruits and vegetables at Dream Market are some of the best I've seen in the area. The selection of produce is diverse and always looks fresh and appealing.
The quality of the meats at Dream Market is also noteworthy. While the beef may not be the highest grade available, it is still of good quality and certainly good enough for everyday cooking. The chicken, on the other hand, is of exceptional quality. It is always fresh and never tough or stringy. The flavor is also excellent, making it a great choice for any recipe.
When it comes to vegetables, Dream Market shines. The selection is always plentiful, and the quality is consistently high. Whether you're looking for leafy greens, root vegetables, or something in between, you're sure to find what you need at Dream Market. I especially appreciate the fact that the produce is locally sourced whenever possible, which means that it is often picked at the peak of freshness.
Overall, I highly recommend Dream Market for anyone looking for good quality food at reasonable prices. The selection of fruits, vegetables, and meats is impressive, and the quality is consistently high. If you're looking for a grocery store that offers great value, look no further than...
