THE ABSOLUTELY BEST PLACE TO GET FRESH PRODUCE RIGHT FROM THE FIELD TO YOUR TABLE!
Irma's is the best place to get daily fresh picked, non-GMO fruits and vegetables direct from their 2 fields (picked & brought in several times daily once harvest season starts with spring berries to fall pumpkins! Irma's has all the farm produce you can think of at fantastically AWESOME prices!
I personally have been purchasing from the family owned & run business for decades. I had to find a way to continue to get the freshest, best produce for canning or freezing after my dad sold our family farm in Almont after he retired from GM & returned to his hometown of McCrory, Arkansas to take care of my grandma.
Here is some "History" about how long Irma's Family Farm Produce has been around for those who don't know the history of the area. Just some friendly FYI:
I was born in 1962 at Mt. Clemens General Hospital & raised on 2 farms most of my life. Back then, Utica had 1 stoplight & M-59(Hall Road) was a 2 lane road...not an EXPRESSWAY! LOL!
The 1st farm my daddy owned was a 25+ acre farm in Utica off of Canal Road & the M-53 expressway overpass. We had orchards, vineyards, & strawberry fields with a 250,000 gallon irrigation water reservoir & about every farm animal you could think of! My great Uncle, Robert Elam, drove the covered wagon pulled by a team of oxen, twisting the ends of his waxed, handlebar moustache in the Thanksgiving Day Parade every year.
The 2nd farm my daddy owned was smaller, only 12 acres in size and we moved to it when I was age 7. It was located in Almont, Michigan off of Bordman Road (38 Mile Road), just West of Bishop Road. The property was at the top of the big hill after the tree canopy🍁🌲🍁 opened up, like a train🚂 🛤coming out of a tunnel, on the south side of Bordman Road just west of Bishop Road, almost exactly in the middle between Van Dyke and Rochester Road. Ohhhh....Those were the days....! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Irma's has been around since before I was born & has remained one of the very few remaining family owned and operated farms and produce stands in the Macomb/Oakland County border just South of Wm. Beaumont Hospital of Troy on Dequindre on the East side of the road in Macomb County. They have remained a friendly, wonderful, family business who deeply love providing & giving back to their community.
Irma's doesn't have customers and employees... they just have a HUGE ADOPTED, EXTENDED FAMILY!
Stop on by and say, "Hi!". You'll likely come to love & appreciate Irma's as much as I do. Irma's doesn't just have fruits & veggies throughout the season, they also have beautiful seasonal outdoor decorations from Spring (Easter) through the fall & early winter holiday season (Christmas). Everything done at Irma's, from the prep of the fields for planting to selling other small businesses products you'll never find in the "Big Produce Stores" is done so with love, care, concern; from the soil preparation to being able to deliver the best of each years "bountiful harvest" to you for your table.
Stop in & say "HELLO"! Tell them you read my "TESTIMONIAL POST" & stopped by "to become ADOPTED/EXTENDED family!" I promise you, it is a decision/choice you'll NEVER REGRET...

Irma's is great! The produce is fresh and locally grown and is available based on what is in season from late July to Halloween. Prices are great. And best of all, the staff is friendly and helpful. Diane, the owner, is absolutely awesome. You can always call to see if what you need is available or have them put aside anything, small or large, to pick up later to ensure it'll be there when you arrive. They also take orders for large orders like bushels of tomatoes/peppers/apples/etc. or large quantities of corn. Pumpkins, Blake's cider and doughnuts, and caramel apples are available through September and October.
Grave blankets and Christmas wreaths are available in November and December. They are beautifully handmade and can be custom made by...
Read moreThis summer 2024, I find Irma’s produce not as good as it was in the past years. I had bought 2 watermelons. The 1st one was pink inside and bitter tasting. The 2nd one was semi red inside, but also was bitter and had an awful taste to it. I also bought a cantaloupe. When I cut it open it had soft spots and tasted fermented. I bought tomatoes. Through the past years they were the best tomatoes. This summer they weren’t so good. Also, I bought corn on the cob in July, and it was very good. I went back to buy more and it wasn’t as good as the first time. I don’t know if Irma’s is buying products from a different farm, but if so, I will shop elsewhere. I can’t afford to buy produce and throw it away because of the awful taste.
I’m very disappointed in the taste of this year’s...
