Gabriel Imports — Local services in Troy

I have been shopping this grocery for several decades and have been mostly quite satisfied with the availability of the products. I have been very satisfied with the service with one small exception ~ which went away decades ago so, no issue. One day I walked in and saw not the usual proprietor, but his son! I had not seen him since he could barely see over the counter, and there he was...running the grocery! I was just so happy and proud for him. There he was, such a fine young man. This is by far the best Middle Eastern grocery apart from Dearborn. This place is terrible, its more like third world country store. Prices are very high, almost doubled in last few months. Old guy at the register traying to be funny but has no sense of humor at all, sometimes very rude. Guy at the butcher part of the store doesn't know any English and starts conversation in his language I guess albanian, he also puts twist ties in his mouth before hi ties your bag so you can have samples of his DNA on your groceries. I will change the rating after I get a chance to see the store inside and buy the products I was hoping to buy but I couldn't because the store was closed at least 15 min earlier without notice on the door.
