Yma Ymas restaurant has truly won my heart with its exceptional array of Filipino delicacies! From the succulent Pork BBQ to the mouthwatering Pancit, the delightful Chicken Adobo, and the refreshing Halo Halo, this eatery has everything a food lover could dream of. Prepare to embark on a culinary journey filled with unforgettable flavors, impeccable service, and a cozy ambiance.
Let's start with the star of the show: the Pork BBQ. Every bite of the tender, marinated pork skewers was a burst of smoky goodness. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with incredible flavor. The combination of the sweet and savory marinade made each piece a delight to savor. I couldn't resist ordering seconds!
Next up, the Pancit. Yma Ymas' version of this Filipino noodle dish was simply outstanding. The noodles were cooked to perfection, offering the right amount of chewiness, while the medley of fresh vegetables, succulent pieces of meat, and subtle seasoning created a harmonious blend of flavors. It was a true celebration of Filipino culinary heritage on a plate.
The Chicken Adobo at Yma Ymas is a testament to the restaurant's mastery of traditional Filipino cuisine. The chicken was tender, moist, and infused with a rich, tangy sauce that delighted my taste buds. The combination of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and spices created a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. It's a classic dish that Yma Ymas has elevated to perfection.
To round off the meal, the Halo Halo dessert was a refreshing and indulgent delight. The colorful mix of shaved ice, sweet beans, fruits, and jellies, topped with creamy leche flan and a drizzle of evaporated milk, created a delightful symphony of textures and flavors. Each spoonful transported me to a tropical paradise, and it was the perfect ending to an exquisite meal.
The service at Yma Ymas deserves a special mention. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and eager to make our dining experience unforgettable. They provided valuable recommendations, ensured our needs were met, and exuded a warm and welcoming vibe that made us feel like part of the family.
The restaurant itself has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor that reflects the rich Filipino culture. It's a perfect place to gather with friends and family, and I can't wait to return.
In conclusion, Yma Ymas restaurant is a hidden gem that captures the essence of Filipino cuisine with every dish it serves. From the delectable Pork BBQ to the flavorful Pancit, the mouthwatering Chicken Adobo, and the heavenly Halo Halo, this establishment is a food lover's paradise. If you're looking for an authentic Filipino dining experience that will leave you with fond memories and a desire for more, Yma Ymas is the place to be. Don't miss out on this culinary treasure!

Read moreRead some good reviews about this Pilipino restaurant. Been wanting to go here. Finally did Saturday July 8th the day after my birthday.☺️The drive here from Toledo Ohio was about an hour and 45 minutes. They open @11 got here around 1:45. The food are mostly gone!😔 It was what you see is what you get. But I was still able to eat rice, and I think it was pork menudo. Prepared topsilog, in a container, which is tocino pork that the owner made herself, garlic fried rice, sunny side up egg and couple slices of fried banana, and also ordered halo halo. They were really busy because there were a lot of orders for graduations. People were coming in, left and right! There was 3 very masipag young manangs 😊 running the place. Also Manong, I think his name is Steve! talking to everyone, I call him the entertainer 😂 Everybody, including me are very patiently waiting. It’s part of being Pilipino. Patience. The restaurant have a nice ambiance atmosphere, manang is very nice friendly and welcoming. Manang have some extra pork barbecue. So I got it to go, got some pandesal, pandecoco, kutsinta, and spaghetti sauce. Definitely going back here but this time going to call first to find out what they are making for the day, hopefully the day I do come back to visit and eat manang have pork dinuguan, and palabok This time I will be there before they open😉☺️ The food we have was delicious, it’s definitely worth going back and tasting the other food they make....
