Dollar General — Local services in Stockbridge Township

This store actually deserves no stars after the incident my nieces and nephew encountered at your store. They were racially profiled and harassed by the stores employees. Yesterday, my nieces and nephews were treated very badly by the staff at this location, my niece 8, 14, nephew 5, the cashier told them they were not allowed in the store and that they had to stand outside the door, the cashier threatened to call the police on them. my 8 year old niece took off crying, and my 5 year old nephew thinks that they will call the police on him when he enters the store. My niece and nephews are respectful, polite and well mannered and would never steal or cause problems. My sister went into the store to find out what happened when the cashier was screaming at her, while a male employee paced behind her. This situation angers me regarding this situation that was turned hostile by the employees at the store, this could have ended up terribly. My plan is to take this up to the highest level...

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but this place definitely deserves it. They are always out of items,they don't stock the shelves here in a timely manner. The store is cluttered and there are large dollys in the isles with products still on the dollys that create a trip hazard especially for older customers. Good luck getting assistance 👍. This place used to be a pretty decent store but ever since the former manager (I think her name was lisa) left this establishment, everything has gone downhill in a big way. It's sad really because this store has the potential to be great. But as long as they pull stupid stunts like closing down the entire store just to stock a few items because the manager is lazy.. the problems...

You never order enough products. You would be better off letting your managers do the ordering. The thing that bothers me the most.... Why do the cashiers put bags back on counter after items are rung up?? Teach your cashiers to put like Items in same bag. Cards in separate bag. Chemical items in separate bag. Mid Night Milky Way plz bring them back. Ice cream is a big seller, but never enough. I'd like to see coffee ice cream It was a big hit in the store that closed down. A small sealed pkg with fish and meat would be nice. So nice for a single meal. The cashiers are always pleasant and willing to help. I like the fresh fruits and veggies Idea. Just a few thoughts I love to see...
