NAPA Auto Parts - Stockbridge — Local services in Stockbridge Township

3 visits, 3 fails. I, like a lot of people, look for parts and availability. They say “ available today?” Twice now I have ordered brake pads and they didn’t arrive when promised. To add to this frustration, this store won’t answer the phone for me to check on the status. I had to drive to the location (20 mins) to be told is wasn’t on the truck. In both instances they said it will be here first thing in the morning. What time? 8 am. In both cases they never text or email when it’s available. Again I had to drive to the store. The second one I waited until afternoon and still hadn’t received notification of availability. I canceled it and went to O’ Reilly’s who had them in stock. I thought I was done with this place but while traveling out west I stopped in the nearest auto parts store for some transmission fluid. It was a NAPA store. I bought more than needed just in case and inquired about returning it. “ As long as you have a receipt anywhere in the US”. I went to this store to return two quarts. I counted 5 people in the store working. Not one could figure out how to do this return. The guy said the best we can do is a store credit. Every time I go there they never ever have what I need in stock. Unless it's a really common part or tool they ain't got it. Not impressive for the only parts place in town. Update. They sold me an alternator brand new it turns out to be junk. AutoZone says they had to sell me a core they tested it it's junk. Update had a napa pro battery less than two years old they won't warranty it. Guy I talked to on the phone said it was still under warranty got off work early to go there and they can't warranty it. I'm not buying another junk battery it went bad way too fast. Nothing but bad experiences at this napa. Plus they close at 6 so I can never make it after work to make things right. Very friendly and helpful staff. Its often busy here as it's a convenient location. So expect a bit of a wait in line. I usually order online for the discount, then pick up here. If there are any delays or issues with product availability they usually call pretty quickly to let you know what time the items will arrive so you dont waste a trip in. I wouldnt head in immediately after placing an order just in case the website lied about availability. Items arent always in stock here even if it says otherwise online.
